Seattle Seahawks superstar Tariq Woolen brutally trolled the team's former quarterback Russell Wilson after he left them last off-season to join the Denver Broncos.

Wilson left the Seahawks after spending 10 years with the team, bringing them a Super Bowl in his second season and proving to be one of the better quarterbacks in the league.

Although he left as one of the greatest Seahawks in franchise history, there was seemingly a lot of bad blood during the move, with Wilson wanting to play with an offensive-minded head coach rather than Pete Carroll - a defensive head coach.

There were a few strange messages sent out by both Carroll and Wilson after the trade was confirmed, with the Broncos trading a huge haul of draft picks and three starting-calibre players to acquire him from the Seahawks.

And just weeks later when the schedule was announced, Wilson learned his first game would be back in Seattle when his new team faced the Seahawks.

That proved to be the start of a horrifying season for Wilson and the Broncos, with the Seahawks defeating them as his former back-up quarterback Geno Smith performed better on the day on the way to a highly impressive campaign.

In that game, Seahawks rookie sensation Tariq Woolen made his debut, and it's fair to say, was not too impressed by Wilson.

Speaking on the 2 Up 2 Down podcast, he said: "When you see him in person, it's like, weird. He's like a sack of potatoes.

"Literally when I seen him, I'm like, 'Dang, I didn't know he was built like that.' And he was short. I'm tall anyway but I was like, 'Damn, he's that short?!'"

Woolen did go on to state that Wilson was a good player, calling him athletic, but his comments drew laughs from those on the podcast and the thousands who have watched since.

The Broncos had already had a very strong roster, and hoped that the acquisition of Wilson would see them become championship contenders.

At the time, the Broncos were highly-praised for the trade, with the Seahawks ridiculed with many believing that they should have held out for more.

But now, it looks to be one of the more lopsided trades in NFL history, with Wilson performing as one of the worst quarterbacks in the league as the Broncos finished with the fifth worst record in the NFL, meaning that they will give the number 5 overall draft pick to the Seahawks.

Many had assumed the Seahawks would use that pick on a quarterback to replace Wilson, but the team will be thinking twice now after Smith's impressive year, and could look to improve their team elsewhere. As well as this year's draft being strong at quarterback, it will also feature three top quality pass-rushers in Will Anderson Jr (Alabama), Jalen Carter (Georgia) and Tyree Wilson (Texas Tech).

For Wilson and the Broncos, they will hope to bounce back after firing head coach Nate Hackett and replacing him with the legendary Sean Payton.
