Danniella's week went from bad to worse as she found herself being stopped at passport control upon arrival at Ibiza airport due to an outstanding legal issue. She was later convicted of fraud after failing to pay for 37 euros (or £32.90 at the time) worth of petrol she put in a hire car during a motorway stop. Her previous legal battle was the last time she had visited a Spanish country until last week when she travelled to the White Isle. However, the ordeal still hadn't been resolved and she was confronted by police soon after touching down.

Speaking to the Mirror, Danniella explained she was terrified at the prospect of going to prison again after her 30 euro fine had increased to a whopping 3,500 euros. The star explained to officers that she had been attempting to try to resolve the matter and even hired a lawyer to handle the case for her.

She was later ordered to attend a courtroom in mainland Spain to sort the issue, explaining that she will make an appearance on Monday or Tuesday following her departure from the party island. Following her ordeal, television star Chantelle Houghton expressed her desire for somebody to look out for Danniella.

She told the Mirror: " Danniella Westbrook, she definitely needs some help. I don't mean that in a condescending way, she genuinely does need somebody to take care of her." It's really, really sad to see money being made off of somebody else's sadness. We're all here watching it like it's some sort of monkey in a circus, it's awful. Danniella would have to take that step herself, only you can remove yourself from the public eye."
