Danniella Westbrook vows to reunite with jailbird ex in Spain despite legal woes
Danniella Westbrook has hinted she and her on-off jailbird fiancé David are back on as she spilled plans to move to Spain with him in an exclusive interview with the Mirror.
The 49-year-old former EastEnders actress revealed her hopes to move to sunnier climes with her on-off beau someday as she revealed a hellish ordeal which saw her quizzed by armed cops in Ibiza airport last week. Danniella discussed the ordeal in an exclusive interview with the Mirror, in which she revealed she feared being thrown in prison again over an old unresolved driving offence.
Luckily the star was spoken to by police at the airport before being instructed to later go to court in mainland Spain. As she awaits another court date in September to resolve the issue – after she was found guilty for fraud in 2018 – Danniella revealed why she is keen to get the matter dealt with for good.
When asked how she feels after the ordeal told the Mirror: "I felt relieved to know a lot more information [and] that I'm not gonna get stopped anymore [or] I'm gonna get put in a prison cell waiting for it to be sorted. And I just feel like I've got a lot more clarity on what to do next.

"But it's just nice to know because David's coming out of prison soon and we would have liked to have gone back to Spain to live. So it would be quite nice and it would be nice to know that's sorted so we can go back to Spain as and when we want to."
It comes after Danniella was reported to have split from David just days after she as spotted shopping for wedding dresses.
It had been claimed the pair had "decided to cancel their wedding plans" and their "whole relationship".
The actress later posted a cryptic message hinting at the split in July. She took to Instagram to share the post and was flooded with supportive messages from fans and followers. "It’s okay to disappear until you feel like you again," the quote read, as Danniella wrote alongside it: "Catch flights not feelings #clarity."
"It will be ok in the end. If it’s not ok it’s not the end. Stay strong. Good luck darling," one fan wrote. "Take all the time you need," another commented. "Sending u massive amounts of love, hugs and respect. Your a good woman Danielle and don't u ever forget it mate," a friend added, as another posted: "We love you."

Danniella appeared in high spirits as she kicked back at Wayne's famous O Beach Bar which sees thousands of partiers flock to the venue every year. But away from enjoying the sun and atmosphere, Danniella and Wayne, 61, managed to have a catch-up with one another.
The mum-of-two looked sensational as she rocked a black string bikini which she opted to cover up with a golden meshed kaftan dress while wearing a cream fedora hat to complete her look. The actress wore her blonde tresses in a natural style as she rocked a natural look as she embraced the warmer weather.
Meanwhile, former Celebs Go Dating star Wayne opted for a checkered shirt which he paired with black shorts and Ray Ban sunglasses. But while Danniella had her sights set on relaxing, Wayne had other ideas as he hoped to help her find her Mr Right.
Taking to Instagram, the businessman shared a video of himself and Danniella in the DJ booth of the club alongside the caption: "I'm looking for another fella for Daniella," alongside a crying with laughter emoji. Danniella later shared the video onto her own story in amusement and wrote: "When your best friend of 36 years, decides his choosing Mr Right for me as I only ever pick Mr Right Nows [sic]."
