The Blind Side star Quinton Aaron has warned off the trolls that have cruelly slammed Sandra Bullock amid the movie's backlash and newly emerged lawsuit relating to the family the film is about.

Sandra, 59, starred in the 2009 flick alongside Tim McGraw and Quinton. The movie, which was said to be based on true events, sees a homeless African-American teenager get adopted by a Caucasian family who help him to overcome his learning difficulties and achieve excellence in American football.

But now Michael Oher, the young homeless man who the film was based on, has said that the story of his adoption by a white family was never true and that they exploited him. According to reports, the NFL star filed a 14-page petition in Tennessee’s Shelby County on Monday, with him alleging that Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy never actually adopted him.

The papers are said to allege that instead of adopting him, they tricked him into a conservatorship when he was 18, that gave them legal authority to use his name in business deals. The suit also alleges that they used Michael to make millions of dollars from the popular book and 2009 movie. The Tuohys have denied Michael's allegations.

And since the news broke, Sandra Bullock, who played the role of Leigh Anne Tuohy in the movie, has received a massive backlash online. "Sandra Bullock should give her Oscar back," wrote one person on Twitter, with many others weighing in on the situation.

Speaking about Sandra receiving backlash, Quinton, who played the role of Michael, has now urged that everybody should her alone as she grieves her husband Bryan Randall who died earlier this month. He explained how he is "not behind" the cruel and "disturbing" things that are being said online. "Leave her alone. Don't come for my mama. I'm six-foot-eight, 400-plus pounds, and you don't want those problems," he told the Daily Mail.

Also speaking to the paper, the actor reacted to the NFL legend's shocking claims that the family lied about adopting him and tricked him into signing a document which in turn stopped him from making money from the $300 million movie, which was all about him.

Quinton has told the outler that Michael didn't ever attend the set of film, with him saying: "I really feel like being a part of telling your story in this industry and trying to be as hands-on as possible in the process is definitely the way to go". He then added that he's not "posting blame on anyone" but is instead urging that moving forward, it needs to be prevented from happening again.

He went on to say that he believes that "all parties that are relevant to the story need to be involved in the making of the story from beginning to finish".
