Tori Kelly thrills fans with tour news after 'unexpected health challenges'
Tori Kelly has just announced that she will be heading on tour next month, with the news having been met with much excitement from some of her fans on social media.
The singer-songwriter, 30, took to her Instagram account earlier to announce her Take Control tour. It's scheduled to visit eight cities in North America over a three week period next month, including Toronto, New York City and Atlanta.
The tour comes following the release of her self-titled EP, which features songs like missin u, cut and shelter. It was released last month, shortly after the Grammy Award winner was said to have ended up being hospitalised.

She wrote in the caption: "It's been too long! The #takecontroltour is here." Tori said that early access to tickets will take place on Wednesday.
The post included a poster that unveiled the dates. The tour is set to begin in Toronto on September 10, before visiting New York, Boston and Atlanta the following week. Tori is due to then perform in Chicago, Denver and San Francisco, prior to two shows at different venues in Los Angeles.

Fans shared their excitement over the tour in the comments section of the post. "I can't wait," wrote one person in response. Another said: "We are ready." Others expressed hope that Tori will add additional dates and locations.
The tour comes after Tori was reportedly hospitalised in Los Angeles last month. It was claimed that she had collapsed prior to the hospitalisation, and that doctors had subsequently found blood clots in her legs and lungs.

She added that it had been a "scary few days" and expressed gratitude to her followers for their support.
The singer further commented in the letter: "I'm feeling stronger now and hopeful but unfortunately there are still some things to uncover." She added that she was "so grateful" to the doctors and nurses who'd looked after her.
A few days later, at the start of August, she hinted that she had been discharged from hospital. Tori shared a footage of herself being greeted by her dogs Frodo and Dobby in a post, with her writing in the caption: "Home sweet home".
It's been reported that she's on the road to recovery. A source told TMZ a few weeks ago that doctors still didn't know what caused the alleged blood clots. The outlet said it had heard she would be monitored with regular checkups.
