Logan Paul offers Conor McGregor $1million bet over result of boxing fight
Logan Paul has offered Conor McGregor a $1million bet after the Irishman declared that Dillon Danis would definitely win the pair's long-awaited showdown in October.
The YouTube star will face Danis at the AO Arena in Manchester as one half of the co-headline for Misfits Boxing's massive 'Prime Card'; his first boxing match since an exhibition with Floyd Mayweather in 2021. It will be the MMA star's boxing debut, and McGregor has declared that he will be heavily involved in the bout.
UFC legend McGregor has promised to coach Danis for the fight as the New Yorker attempts to make the switch from jiu-jitsu black belt to boxer, much to the delight of fans. But Paul has pointed out that McGregor's coaching on this year's The Ultimate Fighter has left a lot to be desired, and claimed he will put $1m on the line over the result of the fight.
"Conor [McGregor] is coaching Dillon Danis, huh?" Paul asked at the end of his fight announcement YouTube video, after watching the Irishman's recent interview with the Matchroom Boxing channel. "The worst coach in history, my odds just went up. I'm coming for you next b****.
"But look, you're so confident in your boy I've got a bet for you. I'd bet Dillon, but he's a broke b****. So listen Conor, I've got a million dollars that says I beat your boy October 14. Come on, bro, come on. I know you can't duck... Two dummies, one night, October 14 I'm f***ing you both up!"

Paul shared a headline from a Mirror Fighting article regarding McGregor's unprecedented seven-fight TUF losing streak this season, after playing a clip showing the Irishman promising to train his team-mate for the bout. "Dillon will win for sure," McGregor told the Matchroom Boxing YouTube channel in the clip.

"They're already back-tracking right now, they awoke an animal. I know Dillon years, I've trained him many times, I've helped him and I'm guiding him, I'm going to train him for this and I'm going to guarantee a win. I hope the lad shows up, they're trying to put a bill on us if we don't show up but we're going to come at him with a bill if he don't show up.
"For sure I'm getting into camp myself after this so when that's organised I'm going to bring Dillon in and make sure and just monitor it. I was training with him while I was in New York. I was in New York for about a month or so, I was training with him, he's in a great space mentally.
"He built himself up, he was in a bad spot but he's built himself back up and now he's in a great spot, so it's great to see and I back him all the way. I've trained with him, I know he's got this."
