Chantelle Warrick was left spooked by the cheesy face in her meal

A mum-of-three was left petrified after she spotted Michael Myers from Halloween imprinted on her hunter's chicken.

Chantelle Warrick, from Devon, finished preparing her husband Steve's favourite meal when she noticed the spooky character's face melted onto the meat. The 45-year-old said she "almost peed" herself after she saw the villain's face staring directly at her as she went to eat the last piece of chicken.

The transport business owner was quick to admit that the dish looked "horrible" and said it put her off eating the rest of her food. Chantelle shared the snap on Facebook last month and wrote: "I decided to make hunter's chicken for my other half and got the shock of my life when it came out looking like Michael Myers from Halloween."

It was flooded with more than 7,000 likes, comments and shares with some people agreeing that it also looked like Texas Chainsaw Massacre's Leatherface, who used his victim's skin as a mask, reports Devon Live. Chantelle said: "When I looked at it I nearly peed myself. I shouted [to my husband] 'Steve, Steve, take a look at this!' Initially I thought it looked like Frankenstein but then definitely Michael Myers from Halloween, it was horrible. Steve saw the face and said it looked horrible too. He still ate it though, he didn't care.

"It was quite scary. I'm hoping it never ever happens again. I've never seen The Texas Chainsaw Massacre so I had no idea [to begin with] but looking at pictures people were posting of Leatherface on my post it's definitely like him. It's horrendous. It's not what you want to see looking back at you from your dinner. My husband ate it, he's a braver person than I am, that's for sure. I'm not a massive fan of horror films, I've not watched it yet but it's on my to-watch list."

Hunter's chicken consists of chicken breast wrapped in bacon then smothered in barbeque sauce and cheese. Chantelle added: "I don't make it too often but my other half loves it so every now and again I'll make it for him served with chips. I stuck it in the oven and that's how it came out. I didn't see it straight away. There were others in the dish so I took those out and plated them up. I went to take that one out with my fork and when I went to do it I was like 'oh my god' and pulled my fork out, which made the little nose indent.

"It was 100% worse after the nose. The hair is the bbq sauce, the cheese [makes the] face. Where the eyes are I think it's where the cheese has melted into the barbeque sauce. The mouth bit must be the bacon coming through." Since sharing the horror lookalike online, people flocked to the comments section agreeing on the likeness - but also suggesting it also looks like Leatherface from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

One wrote: "That’s Michael Myers." Another commented: "That's some Texas Chainsaw stuff." A third person couldn't believe it and questioned: "Holy smokes!! That is horrifying!! Did you still eat it??? Yeah, I am not sleeping tonight. Thank you very much!!!"
