Sandra Bullock and Bryan Randall reportedly shared "vows" in front of friends and family at a Bahamas resort six years before his death and three years before his ALS diagnosis.

A family statement confirmed that Bryan died of the disease this past weekend after a three-year-long battle. He was only 57. The statement read: "It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS."

It went on to mention how Bryan wanted to keep his ALS diagnosis "private" and his family honoured that request. They also asked for "privacy to grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan." Bryan was diagnosed with the neurological disease in 2020, but three years before that it seemed he and Sandra had a pseudo-wedding ceremony.

In a video obtained by MailOnline, the couple is seen dancing together after Sandra supposedly called Bryan the "love of her life" in an intimate ceremony. The alleged ceremony is said to have not been legally binding and didn't involve an officiant, but it seemed like it was as close to a wedding that Sandra might have wanted.

After her divorce from Jesse James in 2010, she shared that she didn't want to get married again. According to a friend of the family: "They really did this for the children, to kind of seal the deal and show them this was a forever thing." Word is that Sandra's adopted children, Louis, 13, and Laila, 11, started calling Bryan 'dad' after the ceremony.

The video shows Sandra dressed in a multicoloured kaftan had her hair done in braids. Bryan was wearing a white shirt, black pants, and a baseball cap. The two were lovingly embracing as they slow-danced together, not knowing what would be in store for them years later.

The video was taken in 2017 at the Three Bees Villa on Harbor Island in the Bahamas. The resort is apparently a favourite of the actress and her family and is perfect for privacy as the villa only rents to one family at a time.

An insider also told MailOnline that Sandra had been secretly taking care of her long time love and keeping him "hidden away in the back of the house. It's so big that you could conceal what was going on with him but towards the end she really didn't let people into the home beyond the doctors and nurses who were looking after him."

Sandra revealed in an interview two years ago that she didn't believe she needed an official document to showcase her love for her man. Currently, there is no cure for ALS, and it's reported that people are expected to live between two and five years after first signs of symptoms.
