Bruce Willis' wife shares gift youngest daughter gave him amid dementia battle

Bruce Willis' daughter found just the thing to cheer up her father on a recent family getaway.

Emma Heming Willis, Bruce's wife, posted a few photos on Instagram to share what the family got up to that weekend. She shared photos of her and her daughters bike riding, walking by the river, and looking for rocks. Emma and Bruce have two daughters together, Mabel Ray, 11, and Evelyn Penn, eight.

"A mile above sea level," Emma captioned her Instagram photo carousel. The first photo showed two girls biking, with a scenic mountain view in the distance. The second was a photo of the two girls looking for rocks by the river. The third was a picture of her, seemingly taken by one of her daughters. The last photo is of the two girls blurred in the distance while Emma holds a rock shaped like a heart up to the camera.

This could be the same rock Emma posted on her Instagram Story, sharing a video of her flipping the rock around in her hand. It seems this was a gift for Bruce from his youngest daughter Evelyn. "On our walk to the river Evelyn found the perfect rock for her dad that she knew he'd appreciate. She knows him well," Emma captioned the video.

It seems the family adventure ended with a BBQ dinner, as Emma then shared a photo of burgers on a grill on her story. No word on if Bruce loved his daughter's gift, but there's no doubt he must have enjoyed it.

The actor is father to five girls, Mabel and Evelyn with Emma, and Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 29 with ex-wife Demi Moore. Demi and Bruce were married from 1987 until their divorce in 2000. Emma and Bruce married in 2009.

In February of this year, the family announced that Bruce was suffering from frontotemporal dementia after his original diagnosis of aphasia the year before. In a joint statement, the family wrote: "Our family wanted to start by expressing our deepest gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love, support and wonderful stories we have all received since sharking Bruce's original diagnosis."
