Love Island feuds and couples that have already split as 2023 cast reunite
The cast of summer Love Island 2023 will be back together in a special reunion episode to air tonight – but what have they been up to since the show ended?
Last week Jess and Sammy were crowned the winners of Love Island 2023, beating fan favourites Whitney and Lochan in the public vote to take home the £50,000 prize money.
Viewers will find out how Jess and Sammy have been getting on since leaving the villa and which couples from this year’s show have stayed together, following reports some have already gone their separate ways.
Some Love Islanders have also been rubbing their fellow castmates up the wrong way with comments made since the show ended - and secret feuds have been exposed. Here we look at everything that has gone down in the past few days as the ‘messy’ cast of Love Island 2023 reunites.
Leah and Montel – split

The pair were booted off in a shock dumping from the island when viewers voted them the least compatible couple two weeks before the final. While they vowed to make it work on the outside, they have since decided to just be friends.
Speaking days after leaving the villa, Leah said: “Our time in the villa was absolutely incredible, but we've actually decided to just be friends. We get on really well and I do really like him, but I feel like for me it's never enough. I'm obviously looking for someone long-term who shares the same values and morals as me.
“I know I'm someone who has very high standards, but I feel like there are just certain things in people that I'm not able to overlook,” she continued, possibly alluding to Montel’s kiss with Tink during Casa Amor.
Catherine and Elom – split

But while they enjoyed their time together in the villa, Catherine and Elom didn’t make it as a couple when they were back in the real world and have reportedly barely seen each other since the show ended.
“The pair struggled to make it work in the real world and barely saw each other since the show ended. They kept up a bit of a pretence, while they did the podcast circuit, but everyone knew it was over before it even really started. Catherine's sister made no secret about her feelings towards Elom, so it's no surprise she cooled things off straight away," a source told The Sun.
Their breakup comes after Elom admitted that he wasn't necessarily looking for a relationship with the Dublin-born beauty after they were axed from the show and told a podcast: "Currently, I want to focus on myself. Coming out of the villa is like a thing where there's obviously a lot of light on both of us innit and we both need to focus on ourselves.”
Kady and Mitch – feud
Kady McDermott has made a number of digs at co-stars following the show (ITV)Two-time Love Island star Kady McDermott has had a lot to say about her fellow contestants since being dumped from the villa – and not everyone is happy about it.
Earlier this week, she clashed with Mitch during a Q&A live session on Instagram after branding him a “Love Island super fan” who had applied to be on the show several times and apparently said he wanted to be a “memorable character”.
Hitting back at Kady, who starred in the second series of Love Island’s as well as coming in as a bombshell in 2023, Mitch warned: “You wait until my podcast and then I'll return the smoke."

Kady quipped: "But I got told you applied four series in a row so I just thought you were a fan." Mitch interrupted saying "also false", as Kady continued: "But someone who works from Love Island told me this. I don't care, Mitch, you know I don't give a s**t, I think you're great."
Promising to give fans the truth when he launches his own podcast, Mitch has branded Kady “two-faced” and a “liar” and added: "It is mental how much you've been on smoke I can't lie... Mmm, no stress. Don't you worry about it?"
Kady and Whitney – feud
Whitney called Kady out for her comments about her and Lochan (Instagram)Kady also felt the wrath of Whitney after branding the runner-up’s relationship with Lochan “fake”. Predicting the couple wouldn’t last long on the outside Kady compared them to 2019 Love Island winners Amber and Greg.
She said: “Whitney and Lochan are the new Amber and Greg [who split a month after winning the show].” At the time Kady predicted Whitney would win “whoever she’s with”. But the pair ended up losing out to Jess and Sammy in the end.
Not one to mince her words, Whitney took to Instagram and sat alongside Lochan to seemingly address Kady’s claims. In a Q&A session with her fans, the 25-year-old wig business owner said: "Kady, this is the reason why your name be up, like, girl."
Kady and Zach/Molly – feud
Kady stole Zach from Molly resulting in her being dumped from the island (ITV/REX/Shutterstock)Since leaving the show, Kady has also revealed that she does not see a friendship with Molly on the outside after claiming Molly didn’t like her. This is probably true after Kady stole Zach from her and got her booted off the show, only for her to come back as a bombshell and rekindle their romance.
Speaking to the Kiss Fresh podcast, Kady gave some insider insight into what Molly as like when they were filming the show: “So basically, Molly off-camera, I know she would talk to girls in the set-up chats, but off-camera, lunch and dinner, and down days, she wouldn't talk to any of the girls.
"She'd completely segregate herself. She'd either be on her own or be with Zach. But then on the down days, you couldn't be with the boys, you had to be separated.”
Molly’s now boyfriend Zach also took aim at Kady and the recent comments she has been making, saying: “This retired pocket rocket has been saying quite a bit" as Mitch scoffed: "She's been messy, she's been making me look clean! She's roasting everyone." Zach continued: "I can't even bro. I'm not going to deal with it. Each to their own. We've all left this gaffe, I'm very happy with how I left."
George - secret feud to be revealed
George has secret beef with one of his Love Island co-stars (ITV/REX/Shutterstock)In another live video with Mitch and Zach, George – who had a short stint on the show after being dumped from the island when Jess chose to couple up with Sammy - revealed he has a secret feud with one of his Love Island co-stars.
Mitch asked: “George for this exclusive live, can you give us an insight into who this person could be?” “No, I actually can’t,” George answered, prompting Mitch to ask: “Why? Is it anyone off Love Island?”
“Yeah it is,” George replied but stopped short of giving any further details. So viewers will have to tune in to the reunion episode to see if all will be revealed.
One fan wrote: “I’m dying to know who GEORGE of all people has beef with since he wasn’t there very long. Excited for this reunion.”
