I’m A Celebrity star in hospital dash after suffering chest pains health scare
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and BBC Radio 1Xtra star Snoochie Shy was rushed to hospital on Saturday after suffering chest pains.
The 31-year-old TV and radio presenter - whose real name is Cheyenne Davide - was rushed to A&E where she had an X-Ray on her heart. Snoochie kept her fans and social media followers up to date with her health scare as she provided updates via Instagram Stories.
Snoochie - who featured on season 21 of I’m A Celeb in 2021 - reassured fans that she was all fine following her hospital dash. And she went on to share videos of herself in the hospital and on her way home.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Saturday, Snoochie shared a photograph of herself laying on a hospital bed. The image showed the star lying down with her legs outstretched and a medical curtain clearly visible in front of her.

The BBC 1Xtra star revealed she was in hospital on Saturday (Instagram)The BBC star showed that she was flicking her middle finger, hinting she was far from happy about her situation. A subsequent video clip showed Snoochie looking reasonably at ease while still in hospital.

She faced the camera and smiled for her followers to see. She added some text to the images, writing: “Getting my chest pains looked at. So need x rays pon da [heart emoji].”
She added: “I’m all good though guys” and added a heart faced emoji. A follow up video showed her in a car after leaving the hospital and with swollen ankles. She wrote: “Swell up. So I need this to go down before grm tomorrow pls.”
Snoochie’s health scare comes less than a week after she celebrated the fact her brother Zach Noel made it to the final of Love Island 2023. The 25-year-old landed in fourth place alongside Molly Marsh.
Ahead of the final last Monday, Snoochie shared a recent photo of herself posing with Zach, and a throwback photo of her and him as children. She wrote: “Well done to my baby bro getting to the finals of Love Island. He thought he’d be out after a week.
“It’s definitely been a roller coaster of emotions watching you every night but all in all I’m super proud of the way you have handled yourself in most situations and I’m glad that people have been able to see the Zac that I have known and the Zac that I love.
“For me you have won already see you soon broski. BIG SIS XX.”
The 2023 season of Love Island was ultimately won by Jess Harding and Sammy Root. However, the result caused something of an upset with fans who had been hoping Lochan Nowacki and Whitney Adebayo would win.
