Screams heard after woman 'has bleach thrown all over her in vile street attack'
A woman was reportedly heard screaming after she was attacked and had bleach thrown "all over her" claimed a witness, with a road in Greater Manchester taped off by police.
Emergency services are understood to have rushed to Wortley Avenue in Weaste, Salford, following reports of the assault carried out by three women, shortly after 8pm on Tuesday night.
The victim, thought to be in her 20s, was reportedly taken off to hospital while police taped off the road.
One eyewitness told the Manchester Evening News he saw three young women 'throw bleach all over' another woman, who he believed to be around 20 years old.
The street is a cul-de-sac but is often used by people walking to get to Kennedy Road.

A road was reportedly cordoned off as police investigatedForensic officers were said to have carried out investigations at the scene in the evening although the exact nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed by police.
"It's vile," a witness said. "I've seen some s**t around here, but that's top of it, that is. It was three girls who did it. They attacked one girl. I heard the screams, but at first I just thought they were playing. But then I realised they had thrown bleach all over her."
Another resident called the incident "absolutely shocking".
It has also led to plenty of comments on social media on Tuesday night with people worried about what happened.
One person wrote on Facebook: “What the hell is going on? What a horrible world we live in” and another said they were “absolutely appalled.”
Many wrote similar comments with one Facebook user writing: “We live in a very sick world!! Hope the lass isn’t harmed too much.”
Another said: “What is up with kids today inflicting pain on someone else. Poor young girl.”
One comment read: “The world’s gone mad” and another stated: “Absolutely vile.”
Others though also said that the situation has always been this way and nothing has changed.
"It's always been that way. Absolutely nothing new that's for sure," wrote one person.
