Kate Beckinsale saw her 50th in with Adam Lambert, Demi Lovato and Demi Moore as she toasted the milestone with a celebrity-filled party.

Rapper Big Boss Vette and Selling Sunset star Chelsea Lazkani were also at the bash and turning the big 5-0 does not seem to bother the actress one bit. Kate, best known for her roles in Underworld and Pearl Harbour, celebrated in style on Sunday by throwing open her Hollywood mansion.

Showing off figure in a red velvet gown, she treated fans to a look at her long legs – and that wasn't all. Donning Playboy Bunny outfit, she paid tribute to “birthday twin” Oliver Gliese, the boyfriend of singer Adam Lambert. She later belted out Peggy Sue with her mum as things really got going.

Nobody could miss her dazzling diamond earrings as she later changed outfits again, this time putting on a silver bodysuit that she paired with a wonderfully over-the-top feathered shawl. The Londoner is clearly loving life and certainly isn't fussed by turning 50 as all her friends and family came out to raise a glass. She today offered plenty of snaps on social media of the star-studded celebrations.

She told her followers: "I tell you what. Getting old is f****** great. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the most magical day full of joy and love and dear dear friends and the odd bird (not me but also me). For those who missed the sound on yesterday's birthday videos voilà- for those who could have done without hearing my mum and me murdering Peggy Sue, tough bananas."

Where some have speculated about the secret to Kate’s seemingly eternal youth, the actress has shot down rumours she’s undergone cosmetic surgery. After one social media user begged to know if she’d had a facelift, Kate explained that she’d had "no threads, no thread lift, no Botox, no laser, no nose job, no filler".

The party was just what Kate needed after a very difficult time. One of her beloved cats, who kept the country entertained in the pandemic after being dressed up in various costumes for her hilarious videos, sadly died. She announced Clive’s death on Instagram, alongside a photograph of her hugging him while he was wrapped in a pink jacket.

"Every single part of my house feels like he should be in it," she said. "If anyone is expecting to hear from me, you may not for a bit and I’m sorry. My heart is absolutely and totally broken. I don’t have it in me to make a montage or even look at pictures of him yet."

Despite her recent heartache, actress has been unashamedly living her best life, regardless of what anyone else thinks, as she showed when she came under fire for briefly dating US comedian Pete Davidson, who is 20 years her junior, back in 2019.

"It can feel like a little bit of a political act to be a woman over 32 who’s having any fun at all," she said last year. "I don’t mean doing drugs and drinking and partying, because I never am, but being goofy, and going out, and not going, 'Oh my God, I’m going to sit home and anticipate menopause while crocheting'."
