After weeks of recouplings, heartbreak and romance, this year's hotly-anticipated Love Island final is now tantalising close.

Tonight either Jess Harding and Sammy Root, Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble, Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki, or Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas will be crowned this year's champions and will leave the villa with their share of a whopping 50,000 prize fund.

That's unless they do the unthinkable and savagely steal the entire cash pot for themselves. The past seven winners of the show have all left the show in a jubilant love bubble - that for many of them popped not long after joining the 'real world.' Ahead of tonight's dramatic climax, we take a look at how the past winners have fared and if any are still together.

Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan were crowned winners of Love Island UK Season 9 on March 13, and the loved-up pair are still going strong.

The top four couples were Kai and Sanam, Ron and Lana, Tom and Samie, and Shaq and Tanya, with the couple to just miss out on a spot in the final four being Will and Jessie.

Kai first met beauty Sanam after she entered the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell, and the pair quickly became a fan-favorite couple, garnering lots of social media support for being the first 'normal', 'down to earth' and 'unproblematic' Love Island finalists.

After winning the show and splitting their £50,000 win, Kai and Sanam appear to have gone from strength-to-strength, regularly posting loved-up photos together of their travels and sweet dates.

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti - 2022

Last summer, Ekin-Su and Davide were crowned winners of Love Island 2022 after they endured a fiery romance in the villa - which wasn't always pleasant. Despite breaking up and getting back together while in the villa, the Turkish actress and the Italian hunk proved that they were made for one another in the end, and they went on to beat Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page to the poll.

After winning the show and splitting the £50,000 prize money, Ekin and Davide's love story blossomed, with the pair moving in together in a swanky London flat, and travelling their home countries together as part of a TV series. However, last month, the pair shocked their fans when Davide took to Instagram to announce their sudden split.

At the time, he wrote: "Ekin-Su and I are no longer together. I am grateful for the memories and opportunities we shared together and I wish her nothing but the best. I would like for everybody to respect this decision during this difficult time. I will continue to support Ekin in any way possible."

Davide later shut down accusations he "blindsided" his ex-girlfriend before adding their relationship had "been on the rocks for months" and that he decided the break-up was for the best as their situation had become "unhealthy".

However just a few short weeks after their split announcement, the pair were seen looking 'intense' at ITV's annual summer party as former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson divulged what he had seen between the pair.

Sam chimed in on the speculation, admitting that he saw Davide and Ekin-Su looking 'intense' with Davide touching his ex-girlfriend's back before they left the venue together. Speaking on Sam's joint podcast with Pete Wicks, Staying Relevant, Sam revealed: "I met all of the Love Islanders. I spoke to a lot of the Love Islanders, I'm going to be honest with you because they were like the people I wanted to, so I was like: 'Oh my God wow'.

"Ekin-Su was there, the whole gang," Sam added before Pete then asked if Sam had quizzed Ekin-Su on her recent split from Davide, to which Sam revealed: "He was there."

"They left together," Pete shared. "Did they," Sam said. "Well he was touching her back and stuff – not like in a creepy way I don't think – but he was talking to her and that kind of stuff. And I was like, 'Oo that's intense' so I was watching it all unfold really."

Millie Court and Liam Reardon - 2021

Liam Reardon, 23, and Millie Court, 26, were the reigning winners of Love Island 2021, with them having reached the final and shared the grand prize on the ITV2 show last summer. After a whirlwind year that saw the pair move in together, travel the world and capitalise on new endorsement deals, the pair shocked fans by confirming they had split last year.

In their respective statements the former lovebirds said they were "gutted" to part and wished each other all the best. After announcing the break-up, Millie denied rumours that Liam cheated on her and that had been tension over their varying career success. Explaining it was the 'right decision for them', Millie said: "I want to stick up for Liam and have his back. He's not a bad guy."

Since the show, Millie has worked with ASOS including releasing her own collection for the fashion brand - which she used to work for as an assistant buyer before Love Island. She's active on social media, including boasting 623,000 followers on TikTok and 50,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel - both of which document parts of her life and career.

Over one after their split, Liam and Millie were spotted on holiday together in Wales, and have been seen out numerous times together - but continued to deny speculation that they had rekindled their romance after their shocking breakup last year.

However, in recent weeks, Liam has confessed that he and Millie are in fact dating again, but are taking things slow this time and trying their best to keep their relationship under wraps and out of the public eye after Millie previously admitted that it was previously the main factor in driving her relationship with Liam into the ground.

Paige Turley and Fin Tapp - Winter 2020

Finley Tapp, 22, and Paige Turley, 24, were the first ever winners of winter Love Island and they were still going strong up until a number of months ago, with the pair almost hitting a three-year relationship before their shock breakup.

After the series, that was set in South Africa ahead of the Covid pandemic, Paige and Finn moved in to their own Manchester love nest and have not looked back. In February last year, the duo celebrated their two year anniversary together with a romantic - and very showbizzy - night at the BRIT Awards.

After appearing on Celebrity Coach Trip together, Paige has returned to her roots and is pursuing a career in musi again, with her having been on Britain's Got Talent when she was younger. She's more recently shared photos from a studio.

She hasn't just been recording music though, with her having performed alongside the House and Garage Orchestra at the O2 Academy in Brixton earlier this year. Finn was previously a semi-professional footballer for Oxford City and recently revealed he's mentoring young players over the process of moving up from a young team.

The former lovebirds called time on their romance earlier this year, with the two unfollowing each other on Instagram and instead posting exciting photos of their single lives which includes lots of partying, travelling, and living it up.

Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea - 2019

Self-professed 'first solo winner of Love Island' Amber Gill actually won the show with Greg O'Shea back in 2019 - despite only being a couple a matter of days before the final. After opting to share the £50k prize pot, the pair did not last long in the real world and split weeks after their win.

During an appearance on Loose Women, Amber revealed that rugby star Greg broke up with her over text message: "I wanted to make it work. I am disappointed it's over... but I'll be fine. Onwards and upwards from here."

While her own romantic story didn't end in a fairytale, Amber has remained a huge Love Island fan - regularly delighting- and often riling fellow viewers - with her observations. The winner even got into hot water with current star Luca's family after she accused the fishmonger of 'bullying' contestant Tasha.

When she's not causing Twitter storms, Amber has also appeared on shows like Celebrity Mastermind and Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and released her debut novel Until I Met You this year.

While Greg has continued to play as a professional rugby player and been a part of the national rugby sevens team in Ireland. He's said to also be an executive board member of the Rugby Players Ireland and has experience as a presenter, including providing rugby coverage for BBC Sport.

Dani Dyer, 25, and Jack Fincham, 31, were the runaway favourites when they won the reality show in 2018.

Sadly on the outside, things quickly turned sour and after a series of rows the pair decided to move out of their rented Canary Wharf love nest and go their separate ways after just nine months. Dani caused a stir when weeks later pictures emerged of her snogging her pre Love Island ex Sammy Kimmence in the street.

While Jack also made headlines when it was revealed he had fathered a child with another woman months later. Dani also went on to have a baby with Sammy - but the pair split shortly after welcoming Santiago.

She was later engaged to mechanic Dan Lawry, but they split up last year. They share son Presley, three, and she tragically had a miscarriage with son Teddy in 2020. Jess has remained in the public eye as a fashion and beauty influencer, and she's said to now be dating a mystery man - saying earlier this year that she's "in a good place".
