N-Dubz fan left with bloodied eye after being attacked and 'stabbed' at gig
A fan was left with a bloodied eye after being attacked in the stands at an N-Dubz concert, it's been reported. Police are said to be investigating after the man was allegedly stabbed at the Open Air Theatre in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
Several brawls reportedly broke out at the event with one fan who shared a video online branding it “carnage”. Footage shared on social media showed a man in a red top tousling with security staff as blood poured down his face.
A small wound on his side suggested he had been ‘stabbed’ as the band – made up of Tulisa Contostavlos, her cousin Dappy and ex-boyfriend Fazer – played on stage. Bouncers intervened and the man was seen making threats as he was carried out of the crowd.
“Saw this one along with three other scraps. Gotta love an N-Duz concert,” one fan commented underneath the video. "It was the same the last time N-Dubz played at the OAT. By the end of the gig think we’d kicked 100+ out for all sorts of stuff,” said another, who appeared to be a member of security. A third said: “What an embarrassment this is really, I live here and every year open air put on a bloody good show we get scummy b******* coming.”
Leaping to the man’s defence, one fan replied: “Need to get facts straight. He didn’t do anything. He was the victim.” Another fan said they didn’t actually see what happened but “only found afterwards that the lad had been stabbed”, according to The Sun. The fight is said to have broken out as N-Dubz played a gig in North Yorkshire on July 20 as part of their current arena tour following a 10-year break from music.
