Amir Khan flies back home as he 'lives apart' from wife amid sexting scandal
Amir Khan has returned home after reports the boxing champ is living separately from his wife. The Former World Champion boxer splits his time between Dubai and the UK, but has been spotted on his way back to London.
It comes after the English athlete and two-time I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! star has been involved in a sexting scandal after he begged bridal model Sumaira for provocative photos and sent her flirtatious comments on her physique. Amir and his wife of ten years Faryal Makhdoom are said to now be living apart.
The boxer has taken to his social media to share a snap of him on a plane. He posted a selfie as he lay in a first class bed and wrote "nap time" before sharing another snap of his journey adding: "Next stop London." The dad-of-three admitted he makes mistakes when he gets bored.

Faryal confronted her husband at their home in Dubai earlier this month after she heard about him begging a model for saucy pictures. "U look good on g string," Khan reportedly wrote in one of the messages. He also promised to delete any received photos. Speaking to The Sun, Khan added: "The stupidest thing I did was to comment on this woman’s picture saying ‘nice’.

"I shouldn’t have done it. I have respect for my wife. I think I do these things out of boredom - I don’t think it’s that I can’t help myself. You get bored and start making mistakes. If I’m not careful, I will get myself into trouble - especially with the wife. She will end up saying, ‘I’ve had enough’."
Khan and Faryal are now separated and living apart, Mail Online reports. It is understood that the former world champion and Instagram influencer are splitting their time between their homes in Dubai and Britain while Faryal decides whether she wants to end their 10-year marriage. Khan has admitted it's "not nice what I've done" but doesn't think his actions count as cheating. "It was just a few texts," he added. "But I regret doing it." Amir has apologised to Faryal for his actions and wants to focus his energy on a new project after retiring from boxing.
The couple, who share three children together, married back in May 2013, tied the knot at a lavish wedding venue in New York. Four years into their marriage, a sex tape of the star was leaked online, which subsequently led to the pair splitting up. After the incident made headlines, the couple called it quits, but were able to reconcile after six months apart.
