GMB doctor fumes as he addresses those 'getting involved' in Nicola Bulley case
Dr Amir Khan slammed those threatening to sell stories about missing person Nicola Bulley during his appearance on Lorraine this morning.
The GP blasted people 'getting involved [in the search] when they shouldn't be' as he issued a 'personal message to anyone thwarting this investigation'.
The medical professional was on the ITV show to chat with Christine Lampard about the decision by Lancashire Police to public reveal missing mum-of-two Nicola had been suffering with alcohol issues caused by menopause prior to going missing last month.
Nicola disappeared along the River Wyre at around 9.20am on January 27 as she walking her pet dog Willow - with Lancashire Police suspecting the mum-of-two may have fallen in the water.

In a new statement, they said: "As a family, we were aware beforehand that Lancashire Police, last night, released a statement with some personal details about our Nikki.
"Although we know that Nikki would not have wanted this, there are people out there speculating and threatening to sell stories about her.
The mum-of-two has been missing for almost a month now"This is appalling and needs to stop.
"The police know the truth about Nikki and now the public need to focus on finding her."
Discussing the statement and Nicola's health battles on Lorraine today, Dr Amir said: "Anyone who is suffering from a health issue, including alcohol issues, it's really important that we value them as much as anyone else. We can't just say 'oh well they've got that' - we can't write them off.
"It's important that we let them know they're as loved and cherished as anyone else."
Dr Amir delivered a passionate message this morningThe TV star went on to passionately add: "And also, I just want to say - this is a bit of a personal message - anyone who is thwarting this investigation by getting involved when they shouldn't be and selling false stories, you should be ashamed of yourself.
"This poor lady needs to come home so her family can have her there and she can be the mum to her children and be herself and be part of that loving family again.
"So I really hope they do get her home."
Earlier this week, a spokesperson for Lancashire Police said it was clear after speaking to Nicola's family she had "in the past suffered with some significant issues with alcohol which were brought on by her ongoing struggles with the menopause".

The move by the police force has attracted a lot of criticism (PA)"These struggles had resurfaced over recent months [and] this caused some real challenges for [her partner] Paul and the family," the spokesman added.
The force said it had taken the "unusual step" to go into this level of detail as it was "important to clarify what we meant when we talked about vulnerabilities to avoid any further speculation or misinterpretation".
"We have explained to Nicola's family why we have released this further information and we would ask that their privacy is respected at this difficult time."
Many social media users have accused Lancashire Police of victim blaming Nicola and argued there was no need for the public to know about her struggle with the menopause and alcohol issues.
