Chet Hanks has had quite the bit of art work added to his torso as the son of Tom Hanks showed off his toned physique on social media.

Chet, 32, who is the son of the Hollywood icon and Rita Wilson, took to Instagram to show off his new design - and fans were seriously impressed. The actor and rapper who sometimes goes by the name of Chet Haze shared the topless snap with his fans as he flexed his muscles - before quickly deleting all of his posts.

Despite having a boisterous public persona, Chet took the time to try to explain to his followers who he really is and revealed he plans to live more authentically. He wrote prior to the deletion: "I have been in character for as long as I’ve been in the public eye.

"I've played many roles and worn many masks. Actor. Rapper. Fitness guy. Lambo guy. None of them are the real me... But the more I look around at the world I see that the world doesn’t need any more caricatures. False depictions of who we think we need to be... There’s only on thing the world needs more of and that’s God."

Chet converted to Christianity a decade ago after previously stating he was an atheist. His new work covered up an old chest tattoo of the Eye of Providence. In its place he chose another religious icon as he opted for a large cross.

He continued his words on the post: "All the pain in my life has resulted from one thing — the lie of believing that my purpose is anything but just serving God," he continued. "It's not fully clear to me yet how I can best serve Him but I feel that this level of honesty is a starting point. And I know He will continue to reveal more."

Chet had previously opened up on his change in faith on Logan Paul's IMPAULSIVE podcast in 2021. He told the host how he was an angry, rule-breaking 17-year-old before being sent to a 12-week camp in Utah wilderness by his parents.

He explained how, during a hike, he found himself "overcome with emotion" as he took in the beauty of the landscape. He told Logan: "It felt like I was touched by the hand of God. It was at that moment God revealed Himself to me."
