Liverpool to lodge fresh Romeo Lavia transfer bid as Jurgen Klopp's plan emerges
Jurgen Klopp still has some work to do in the transfer window despite getting two early deals over the line for Liverpool already this summer.
The Reds have added Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai to their ranks as they give their midfield a much-needed refresh. But with further unexpected outgoings occurring in that department, Klopp is still in need of further reinforcements before the new season gets under way in little over a fortnight's time.
With the clock ticking down to their Premier League curtain raiser against Chelsea on August 13, here is all the latest transfer gossip coming out of Anfield.
Henderson departs
Jordan Henderson has finally completed his £12million transfer to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq.
The departing Liverpool skipper will join up with new manager, former Reds icon Steven Gerrard in the Middle East.
Klopp's dream Liverpool line up as last-gasp January transfers rejectedHenderson spent 12 years at Liverpool but Klopp informed the 33-year-old he would see reduced game time this season. The England international has penned a contract with the Saudi club worth a reported £700,000 per week.
He has also faced backlash over the move due to his status as an ally with the LGBTQ+ community, with homosexuality outlawed in the Gulf state. Al-Ettifaq announced Henderson's signing with a video but greyscaled all instances of him wearing the rainbow captain's armband in support of LGBTQ+.

Fresh Lavia bid expected

Liverpool look set to lodge an improved offer for Southampton's Romeo Lavia following Henderson's exit.
The 19-year-old is deemed a suitable option to help fill the void left by Henderson and Fabinho, who is also poised to head to Saudi.
The Telegraph reported that Liverpool were still £15m off in their valuation of Lavia, however, with Southampton slapping a £50m price tag on his head.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has since claimed Liverpool are ready to up their first offer of £35m to an initial £42.5m with £2.5m further in add-ons to try and tempt the relegated Saints into a sale.
Klopp's plan emerges
Right-back Conor Bradley is set to sign a new three-year contract with Liverpool, suggesting he may be involved with the first-team next season.
Bradley starred on loan at Bolton Wanderers last season, winning their player of the year award as they finished fifth in League One. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be a big fan of the 20-year-old and revealed in April he wanted to assess Bradley in pre-season before deciding whether to send him out on loan again or keep him in and around the first-team.
Liverpool transfer window winners & losers as £37m spent on Klopp's "great day""We knew what we had in our hands when he was there, but for young boys there must be an opportunity to make the next step with playing and that was now a typical win-win situation: it was good for us, good for him and good for the club and I liked it a lot," Klopp said when asked about the full-back's stint at Bolton.
