Tori Kelly breaks silence after being hospitalised in terrifying medical scare
Tori Kelly has said that it's been a "scary few days" after she was rushed to hospital this week, with it reported that doctors found blood clots after she allegedly collapsed.
The singer-songwriter, 30, took to Instagram earlier to share an update with fans after reportedly spending time in an intensive care unit amid the undisclosed health issue.
The Grammy Award winner - who's due to release her self-titled EP later this week - told her followers that she was "overwhelmed" by the support she had received in her post.
She wrote: "Hi friends, as you may have heard, I'm dealing with some unexpected health challenges. It's been a scary few days but I can feel your prayers and can't stop thinking about you. I'm feeling stronger now and hopeful but unfortunately there are still some things to uncover."

She shared a letter with her followers on Instagram (torikelly/Instagram)She continued: "I'm so grateful for the amazing doctors and nurses who have been looking after me. Of course I'm heartbroken about all of the things I had planned for this week of releasing my EP, but I know my health must come first.

"Until I see you again, I still want you to enjoy a project that represents the happy place I've been in the last few years. I won't let this hurdle prevent the music from being yours on Friday!I love you all so much and I am truly overwhelmed by all of the love and care I have received. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
The post has amassed more than 80,000 likes on the platform since it was uploaded earlier and there has been an outpouring of supportive messages in the comment section. It included responses from celebrities like actor Yvette Nicole Brown, who reacted: "Praying for your full healing, honeybun."
There was also a comment from fellow singer-songwriter Zara Larsson who wrote: "Thinking of you! Get better." She included a series of heart emojis at the end of her reply.

Another fan said: "Been so incredibly sad these past few days thinking about you. [...] So thankful you were able to write this but hate that you're not back to 100%. Praying for answers, a full recovery and complete healing. Love you so much".
