A video showing a Mini covered in threatening and abusive notes after it was parked blocking in another vehicle has gone viral.

The clip on TikTok with almost 10,000 people now having watched it and most social media users appear to not side with the Mini owner.

The footage uploaded by TikTok user @jakeparker558 a person is heard saying “saga continues” before uttering expletives as he walks around the Mini and looks at the notes.

The video starts by showing the grey Mini Countryman with several white notes left on the windscreen in a car park. Filmed using a smartphone the camera zooms in on the notes with one stating: “You absolute selfish b****** c**** you have ruined my weekend. Call me on 07*********”.

There are other similar notes with one saying: “Piece of s*** c***.” The person who has been blocked in was trying to get back home to Essex with a further message saying: “Stranded with no way home to Essex.” It again gives the number and said call if the person has “the b*******”.

In the video the Mini appears to be parked across the path of a white Audi which seems to be blocked in and despite the abusive tone of the notes left on the windscreen, most people have sided with whoever wrote them. In fact many people commenting on the video felt that the Mini driver got away lightly with just having notes written.

One person said: “Mate if you have intentionally parked in front of that car then a note is them being kind. I would smash your window and push that Mini out of the way.” And the TikTok user who uploaded the video, Jake Parker, responded to that “clarifying” that he was “just walking past” and he was calling out the Mini driver.

Another comment read: "Brick in the widow, pull the handbrake and move it I say," and a further stated: "They can have it towed, and then the mini will have to pay hundreds to get it back."

But there were others who felt the Mini driver could have been in the right. One person said: "Depends whose spot it is. I’ve done that when someone took my own spot at my apartment."

And another made the point that: "Everyone missing the private parking sign. "Clearly some daytripper has parked in the mini's private parking place so he blocked them in. Fair enough."
