Jake Paul has a very unique boxing story, making the millions that usually only come with a world title before he ever stepped foot inside a boxing ring.

During the mid-2010s, both Jake and and his brother Logan Paul established themselves as some of the fastest-growing stars on social media, with the younger sibling eventually landing a massive role on Disney Channel's hit show Bizaardvark. The brothers came from humble beginnings in Ohio, but had a relatively standard suburban upbringing.

They began to make social media videos as youngsters, but only started to gain traction with seven-second comedy skits on the now-defunct video platform Vine. Logan managed to finish high school and get a few months into an engineering course at university, but Jake's fame came at a young age and he dropped out before graduating, completing his schooling on set.

The pair initially started making money through advertisements on Vine, where they amassed 10s of millions of followers and could command big money for brand deals. By the end of 2014, Jake was reportedly making more than the average annual salary in America of $50,000 for just a few sponsored posts, and decided to leave school to join Logan in California.

In 2018, the year when he first started training for boxing, he landed on the Forbes Magazine list of highest earning social media stars. The younger Paul brother was reportedly worth in the region of $21.5million which made him the second highest-paid social media star before finding the ring.

At the start of the year, he was called out by British YouTuber KSI for a white collar boxing match, and ultimately ended up facing his younger brother while Logan took on the challenge. Jake landed a fifth round stoppage and fell in love with the sport, continuing to train and getting his professional licence along with his brother.

Logan made his debut in November 2019, with Jake following suit in a seven-figure debut the next January. He got rid of AnEsonGib within a round and stayed training with coach BJ Flores through the coronavirus pandemic, eventually facing basketball star Nate Robinson behind-closed-doors on the undercard of Mike Tyson's exhibition bout with Roy Jones Jr.

Over 2021, Paul fought three times in main event pay-per-views, reportedly selling in the region of 1.5-2million pay-per-views between Triller Fight Club and Showtime Boxing. He was believed to have made $40million from the three fights, before a difficult 2022 where most of his earning was done in outside of the ring endeavours after fighting just once.

Estimations around Paul's current net worth are believed to be somewhere between $50-80million after his near decade as a social media star and boxer. He owns a number of businesses including his recently launched Betr which will be a massive player when gambling becomes widely legal across America.

He and business partner Geoffrey Woo run a venture capital fund Anti Fund where they invest in a number of businesses, while he also runs Most Valuable Promotions alongside Nakisa Bidarian. Paul was also an early investor in Fanjoy, selling merchandise for some of the biggest stars in social media, which likely earns him a lot of extra money.
