Alex Telles is on course to complete his £4million move from Manchester United to Saudi side Al Nassr.

Despite claims the deal had fallen through, Telles is expected to make the switch over the next 48 hours.

Brazilian Telles spent last season on loan at Sevilla and was told he is not part of United boss Erik ten Hag’s long-term plans. Telles is understood to have been offered a deal worth £150,000-a-week by Al Naasr and will join the exodus of Premier League stars heading to the lucrative Saudi league.

Signed by United from Porto for £15.4million in 2020, Telles made just 30 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils over two seasons, before heading out on loan last term.

United midfielder Fred, who is set to join the squad on tour in the US after being granted permission to stay behind in the U.K. to deal with a personal issue, has attracted interest from Fulham.

Dean Henderson and Anthony Elanga are both targets for Nottingham Forest. United want £30m for England goalkeeper Henderson and £15m for winger Elanga.

Eric Bailly, who is also out of favour and spent the season out on loan, could join Telles in Saudi Arabia. There is tentative interest from the Middle East in the defender, who hasn't played for United since December 2019.

Former club captain Harry Maguire's long-term future is also unclear after he was stripped of the club captaincy last weekend.

Telles did not report for the first full day of Manchester United's pre-season training last weekend as the defender no longer featured in Ten Hag's plans. And the Dutchman will now aim to take advantage of some of the above names in the hope of raising further to supplement the small fee that the club will bank for offloading Telles.

After sealing deals for Mason Mount and Andre Onana, United are set to intensify their efforts to sign a new No.9. A move for Atalanta hotshot Rasmus Hojlund has been touted and the 20-year-old Denmark international is a player Ten Hag admires.

Any deal for the striker is unlikely to come cheap, though. And after shelling out over £90m to bring Mount and Onana to Old Trafford, sales are likely to be required.

Ten Hag is eager to bolster his squad with the club back in the Champions League after last year's absence. United begin their domestic campaign against Wolves next month.
