Gemma Collins has savage four-word response to weight-shaming trolls
Gemma Collins has given a blunt response to trolls who tell her she needs weight loss surgery - and we're all for it.
Speaking exclusively to the Mirror on Thursday, the 42-year-old opened up about her self-care routine - which includes everything from growing vegetables, exercising outside, and of course, ignoring the haters.
Gemma has endured a torrent of online bullying since rising to fame in 2011 on The Only Way Is Essex, much of which has cruelly centred on her weight. Earlier this year, the reality TV star was even forced to call the police after an anonymous person online insulted her appearance and threatened to break her jaw.
She has refused to let the negativity consume her, however, choosing instead to focus on herself and those around her that matter.
"I don’t need to change for anyone," Gemma said. "The only people’s opinions I value are my family’s and my partner’s opinion."

Gemma, who has been engaged to boyfriend Rami Hawash since December 2021, had even stronger words for the people who suggest she needs weight loss surgery to trim down.
"I say to them, 'You can f**k off'. I’ve become a millionaire being me, being a plus-size girl," she said.
Gemma's unapologetic statement comes less than a month after she took to Instagram to address comments advising her to undergo a gastric bypass.
"A lot of people say 'Gemma you've struggled with your weight for so long, just go and have the operation," the podcast host said in the wholesome workout video. "But there is still that part in me that just wants to do it naturally and doesn't want to give up."
Gemma added that, while she is not against others having the life-altering surgery, she herself remains "a bit scared of operations."
For now, she's taking a holistic approach to her health.
"I've learnt, as I've got older, there are no quick fixes," she tells the Mirror.
Elsewhere in the candid interview, Gemma revealed that she's 'cracked' the secret to happiness by looking 'within' and embracing the simpler pleasures of life.
"Happiness is an inside job. It lies within you. I’m happy when I’m grinding through my vegetables and doing wholesome stuff," she said, after revealing she'd spent the morning cooking using fresh ingredients from her garden.
