Lindsay Lohan found love with multi-millionaire Bader Shammas back in 2020, with the happy couple now welcoming their first child together.

The 37-year-old Mean Girls actress recently gave birth to their baby boy, who they named Luai. The unique moniker is an Arabic name which means "shield or protector".

Lindsay and Bader, 36, are very protective of their private life and have largely managed to keep their romance out of the spotlight. In fact, they even managed to keep their marriage secret for several months.

Despite their relationship being relatively low-key, Lindsay has shared snippets of her romance with fans over the years.

Who is Bader Shammas?

Bader Shammas was born in Kuwait and now lives in Dubai with his wife and their son. He currently works as the assistant vice president at the banking firm Credit Suisse, where he has worked since 2018.

He attended the University of South Florida and earned a degree in mechanical engineering, according to LinkedIn. Bader also earned a degree in finance from the University of Tampa.

He reportedly has an estimated net worth of around $100million (£77million).

How did the couple meet?

Lindsay and Bader met in 2019 at a restaurant in Dubai. The actress revealed they spoke for hours during their first encounter, adding how she knew he was the one.

"I feel like you're the person I'm going to be with forever," she told him during their first meeting.

Recalling their first encounter with Allure, she said: "I'd never been able to talk to someone like this."

Bader popped the question to Lindsay in Utah back in November 2021, while she was filming the Netflix movie Falling For Christmas.

The engagement ring is said to be worth a massive $250,000 (£193,000). Announcing their engagement on Instagram, Lindsay wrote: "My love. My life. My family. My future. #love."

They then tied the knot in a secret ceremony on April 3, 2022. Lindsay confirmed their marriage three months later.

Taking to social media, she wrote: "I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time.

The family live in a four-bedroom, 7,00 square-foot villa overlooking Kite Beach in Dubai.

Lindsay has previously described the property as her first "family home". She worked with celebrity interior decorator Kate Instone to create a space that provided "coastal calm".

Speaking to The National News, Lindsay said: "I wanted a beautiful and relaxed home for me and my family, with a calming palette of neutrals punctuated with nautical blues."

She also explained how most of the furniture in her home has been upcycled.
