Erik ten Hag won the Carabao Cup during his first season at Manchester United - now it's time to push for the Premier League title.

It's been a decade since United last won the biggest prize in English football, while they haven't lifted the Champions League since 2008. Ten Hag was appointed by the Red Devils a year ago to win those two trophies, but he needs a squad capable of achieving that.

In comparison to their rivals, United have experienced a quiet summer transfer window so far. They've made just one senior signing in £60million man Mason Mount, while David de Gea is the only major departure. Ten Hag still has a lot of work to do.

But who is the United boss interested in signing? Here are the latest headlines from Old Trafford.

Onana deal agreed

United have agreed a deal to sign Andre Onana from Inter Milan, according to the Manchester Evening News. It's believed the Red Devils will pay up to €55million (£47.2m) for the Cameroon international, 27, with £43.8m of that cash coming up front.

It's unclear exactly when Onana will complete his United medical, but he is expected to be involved in the club's pre-season tour of the United States. The Red Devils take on Premier League rivals Arsenal in New Jersey on Saturday.

Onana will replace David de Gea between the sticks after the Spaniard left Old Trafford earlier this month. Onana played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax - winning three Eredivisie titles, among other honours - and joined Inter on a free transfer just a year ago.

He helped Inter win the Italian Cup and Italian Super Cup last season, as well as reach the Champions League final. Onana's arrival will pave the way for at least one more goalkeeper to leave Old Trafford, with Nottingham Forest after Dean Henderson.

Telles set for move

United are in talks with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr over the transfer of Alex Telles. The Brazil international, 30, spent last season on loan at Sevilla - making 38 appearances - but it's believed the Spanish club aren't interested in signing him on a permanent basis.

Telles isn't thought to be part of Ten Hag's plans either and will be allowed to leave Old Trafford this summer, but only if the price is right. United are not willing to let the defender depart on a free transfer after paying Porto £15.4m for his services three years ago.

Telles has a year remaining on his contract, but United have the option to extend that deal by a further 12 months. A move to Al-Nassr would see Telles reunite with former United team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined the Saudi club in January.

Elanga and Maguire latest

United could increase their asking price for Anthony Elanga, according to the Manchester Evening News. The Red Devils had halved their asking price for the 21-year-old to just £10m - but it's claimed his value has increased thanks to interest from Everton and Forest.

Harry Maguire is another player who could leave Old Trafford this summer after Ten Hag took the captaincy off him. West Ham are thought to have contacted United about the 30-year-old's availability, but a loan deal is unlikely due to his £200,00-a-week salary.

Newcastle and Tottenham are also interested in signing Maguire, who is valued at £50m by United. Chelsea are another team considering a move for the Englishman and they could step up their interest after Wesley Fofana was ruled with a serious knee injury.
