An Amazon customer was left baffled after opening a package that should have been his £500 laptop - only to discover two boxes of Weetabix instead.
Adam Yearsley, from Trafford, decided to treat himself and ordered the HP laptop last week.
The 40-year-old had never had an issue with the online giant before, but was left shocked by the contents of the parcel.
Yearsley said: "I use Amazon all the time, I've never had an issue before.
"I thought I would treat myself to a new computer. I ordered it, paid £500 for it and a couple of days later it was delivered.

"When I opened the parcel it was two packets of Weetabix, a 24-pack and a 12-pack, sellotaped together in the shape of a laptop."
Adam told Manchester Evening News that the box appeared to have been "tampered with" before he opened it. Fearing he had been the victim of a scam, he reported the incident to the police.
Adam said: "I've been quite distressed over it, I don't know how it's happened.''
He added: "I was very baffled. I thought maybe my partner had ordered the Weetabix but I had to give a code to the delivery driver because it was an expensive parcel."

Amazon said it has been in touch with the customer to apologise and offer a full refund.
A spokesperson said: "This has been resolved. We’ve contacted the customer directly, apologised, and refunded in full."
It's not the first time an Amazon customer has tried to open a new laptop from the firm, only to find cereal instead.
Last November, The Northern Echo reported that a woman from York received a box of Kellogg's Corn Flakes when she was expecting an £850 laptop.
The following month, the BBC reported on a Staffordshire mum who ordered a laptop as a Christmas gift for her daughter but instead found two boxes of cereal.
Both customers were refunded and offered Amazon vouchers.
