Wetherspoons-lovers can look forward to an exciting addition to the ‘Spoons experience next week - particularly if they’re

A significant majority of the 827 pubs will be showing the from next week onwards, which begins on Thursday.

This follows on from their unprecedented showing of the men’s World Cup in December last year - and only won’t be available in

A Wetherspoons spokesperson said: "Television coverage of the matches will be screened at the pubs for the duration of the tournament, which concludes with the final on Sunday, August 20 at 11am.

"Enjoy football action with a superb selection of real ales, craft beers and wines."

The 2023 Women’s World Cup is taking place in Australia and New Zealand - meaning many of the games will be taking place overnight.

However, England’s first three group stage games have been scheduled for morning time in the UK, meaning they will be during Wetherspoons opening hours.

England face Haiti on 22 July at 10:30, Denmark on 28 July at 09:30, and China on 1 August at 12:00.

It’s a double whammy for those who love both football and cider, as Strongbow and Strongbow Dark Fruits return to the Wetherspoons menus on August 2, for the first time since their removal in 2021.
