Police appeal for sightings of 'puppy hitter' as manhunt continues
Police are hunting for a man they want to speak to after footage of a puppy being repeatedly hit was circulated online.
A doorbell camera captured the pet being suddenly pulled by its leash and then struck around the head during the horrifying incident outside a home in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.
The clip sparked fury amongst social media users, who called for the RSPCA to intervene and for police to launch their own investigation.
Days later, a man reportedly visited the property and said he "didn't give a flying f***", adding: "I'll treat my dog how I want to treat it."

The force has carried out enquiries in the area and reviewed CCTV, but still needs information on the man's whereabouts.
Officers did not name the suspect.
A police spokesperson said: "We are continuing to appeal for information after a man allegedly hit a puppy in Stoke-on-Trent.

"The man is described as white, mid 20s, 5ft 8ins, with a slim build and brown hair.
"We have been speaking to residents in the area, reviewing CCTV and checking addresses but still need more information about the where the man is."
A spokesperson for the RSPCA previously said: "We are aware of this and are looking into it. As such, we are unable to comment further at this time."
