Jake Paul has insisted he will be able to raise $100million in order to make a fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg happen.

The YouTube star has transitioned to the ring and become one of boxing's most talked-about stars over the past three years as a professional. He has also launched his own Most Valuable Promotions, signing undisputed featherweight champion Amanda Serrano and top prospects Ashton Sylve and Shadasia Green to his banner.

Paul will return to the ring against Nate Diaz on August 5 in Texas after suffering his first defeat by Tommy Fury in February. And he has detailed how his connections in the Middle East, where that bout took place, could help him to set up the social media grudge fight between Twitter boss Musk and Facebook founder Zuckerberg.

“I think it very well could happen," Paul said during a new episode of his show BS with Jake Paul. "And I have a $100million offer for Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg to take this fight to the Middle East, to promote it, to put it on for charity. We can guarantee that money.”

UFC boss Dana White, with whom the YouTuber has had a lengthy feud, is also offering to put the fight on and has already been seen wearing t-shirts promoting the bout. But Paul is the latest critic to point out the MMA supremo's hypocrisy after days earlier claiming he wasn't interested in putting on "gimmick fights".

“You know it’s funny because Dana White is sitting there talking about, 'I don’t do gimmick fights, I only do real fights, the best of the best,' talking about me," he continued. "And then all of a sudden, he wants to jump on this train so badly and make it go into the UFC. To me, that’s just ironic."

White has previously slammed Paul's wins in the ring, including against legendary MMA fighters such as Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Ben Askren. However, his most recent jab at boxing's trend of "gimmick fights" was a potential crossover bout between Francis Ngannou and Anthony Joshua, with his former heavyweight champion now facing Tyson Fury.

But he has passionately defended the Zuckerberg and Musk debacle, telling a fan on social media: “This isn’t a gimmick fight. Gimmick is MMA guys going to boxing and getting beat. We have seen it already and know how it ends. This is a fight between two of the most powerful/richest guys in the world. Who will win? Who has seen this before? NOBODY. It’s also a crossover fight that literally EVERY-EVERYONE will watch.”

Musk, the mind behind Tesla and the new owner of Twitter, called for a cage fight with Facebook and Instagram boss Zuckerberg earlier this year in a joking social media post. But when his rival responded positively, the pair began seriously talking with White about the potential of making the bout a reality, and both have been seen training with elite MMA fighters.
