Hack for avoiding flour spillages using unlikely kitchen item is mind-blowing
If you're baking, your kitchen may look like a mess of white flour once you're done and it can take forever to clean. It gets all over surfaces, floors, hands - just everywhere.
No matter how you choose to decant the flour into the mixing bowl - whether you use a spoon, pour it from the packet, or you've tried a different kitchen utensil, it seems like an impossible task not to spill it all over the place.
But fear not, because @thekitchn has come up with the perfect hack that will see you spilling your key ingredient no more!
The tutorial was posted with the caption: "No mess, no stress! This whisk baking hack will make your life easier."
The video shows somebody putting a whisk (yes, with holes in!) into a bag of flour, and it miraculously packs it in enough to not spill anywhere.
Make-up artist's eyeshadow trick to get 'Charlotte Tilbury' look for less moneyTo prove how well the hack works, they 'really put it to the test' and showed someone walking across a kitchen with flour in a whisk and it didn't spill anywhere, in comparison to the disaster that occurred when they used a spoon at the start of the video.
In the comments, people were amazed at the hack, with some saying it had created a whole new measurement when making cakes.
One wrote: "New measure unlocked - one whisk of flour!", followed by a heart-eyes emoji.
Another said: "This really worked!"
Others sadly didn't see the point of the hack though, criticising it and saying it didn't really solve any problems.
Someone suggested: "Here's a real "hack". Put down a towel of some sort on your work station. Put the bag of flour and your bowl on the towel. Use a spoon and measuring cup to measure out your flour. Spill it all over the towel if you wish. After you're done, shake out the towel in the sink and throw the towel in the wash. Easy peasy."
