Shania Twain wows Starstruck viewers with real age as she makes show debut
Shania Twain wowed Starstruck fans with her real age as she made her debut on the ITV show.
The songstress joined the panel of the show alongside Jason Manford, Beverley Knight and Adam Lambert as a replacement for Sheridan Smith who departed her role last year. Olly Murs hosts the show, which is back for a second series.
Starstruck challenges members of the public to become their favourite musical icon. At any one time, three people sing with one another pretending to be their favourite star in a bid to make it through to the final of the entertainment programme.
As Shania made her debut tonight, fans of the show rushed to social media to praise the singing superstar and were left stunned by her true age as they took to Twitter to share their excitement at her joining the show.
"How the f*** is Shania Twain 57?? #Starstruck," one wrote, as another added: "Let’s not lie, Shania Twain doesn’t age & her talent is just timeless #Starstruck." A third shared: "So glad it's back. Love it. And great to see Shania Twain joining the panel. Fantastic!"

Shania bagged the role when Sheridan Smith stepped down from the show.
Katie Rawcliffe, Entertainment Commissioning at ITV, said: "Shania is one of the all time music greats, not to mention a fabulous personality, so it’s an honour to welcome her to the Starstruck panel alongside Adam, Beverley, Jason and of course Olly at the helm."

She is an absolute trailblazer who has collaborated with everyone from Elton John to Harry Styles. Shania will bring so much fun to our Saturday nights we simply cannot wait."
ITV previously said of Starstruck: "Leaving their day jobs behind, members of the public will be transformed into their most beloved music star for one night only. But they won’t be on stage alone.
"Instead, they’ll be teaming up as trios who all share the same love of a music icon to give the performance of a lifetime. With an expert glam team to oversee their extraordinary transformation, impressive staging and a spectacular sound and light show, our singing stars will be getting the complete ‘superstar experience.'"
