If you own a relatively new Samsung television there's good news. The Korean technology giant has just announced the release of some exclusive bonus content that can be viewed on the big screen for free. The update is via a new collaboration between Les Mills and Samsung Health with telly owners able to tune in and watch fitness classes from the comfort of their own homes.

That means pulses will race without splashing out on expensive gym memberships or subscription plans.

Samsung says that 14 sessions are available at launch including BODYPUMP 118, BODYCOMBAT 93, BODYATTACK 11 with each lasting for 35 minutes.

As well as guided classes showing how to get fit, anyone with a Samsung smartwatch will also find they can connect this device and view real-time health data on their wrist whilst taking part.

So who is getting access to the fitness upgrade?

Samsung has confirmed that it is available to anyone with TV models made from 2020 until now. So, if you have bought a Samsung smart telly in the past three years you should be good to go and get active.

Speaking about the partnership, Sébastien Pencolé, Global Product Manager, Samsung Health said: “We are thrilled to announce the addition of Les Mills to our esteemed roster of partners for Samsung Health on Smart Hub. This collaboration builds upon our successful efforts to promote health and fitness in the convenience of one's home. Through this partnership, Samsung Health TV users will now have access to an extensive selection of workout options and the renowned fitness classes offered by Les Mills, enhancing their overall fitness experience.”

Samsung isn't the only tech giant launching new fitness classes. Sky has just released its new Live device which sits on top of your telly and offers a new way to interact with content.

Along with making video calls and gaming, Sky Live also offers fitness classes with the camera even revealing where you are going wrong. Advice and tips are then shown on the screen to help guide you through each exercise.
