P!NK’s Summer Carnival tour rolled into town at the weekend and fans were treated to one of the greatest shows on earth.

The singer kicked off an awe-inspiring two-hour acrobatic set appearing at the top of the stage between giant cartoon lips after telling fans she was going to Get The Party Started!

And with that she dived headfirst to the stage below before flipping and spinning through the air without even missing a note.

It was an electric start to the singer’s first of two shows headlining American Express presents BST Hyde Park.

Greeting the 64,000-strong crowd she asked: “How the hell is everybody doing tonight?

“Thank you for coming to play with us… You guys ready to sweat?

“I feel so honoured to be here. What was it, like, 15 years when I was last here at Hyde Park? You’re all so beautiful... ”

The stage was turned into a beach party for Raise Your Glass which saw giant beach balls being thrown in the air while pink doughnuts, flamingos and pink cocktails were projected on the screen behind.

It was a sensory overload as dancers performed acrobatics in the air while suspended from bunches of bananas as P!nk, wearing a glittery pink bodysuit, blew kisses and waved to fans as she ran down the runway.

The heartbreaking ‘Who Knew’ saw an emotional interpretive dance with performers dressed in angelic white as P!nk sang about loss.

Just like a Pill followed and the crowd burst into song with P!nk pausing for a moment at the end to take in the “beautiful” sunset and explaining: “I never thought I’d be this sober!”

The singer, real name Alecia Beth Moore Hart, put on a jaw-dropping high octane show featuring a jam-packed catalogue of hits from her 23-year career.

Beefed-up synths on What About US turned it into an electronic dance anthem before P!nk once again took to the air for an emotive acrobatics routine to the ballad Turbulence from her latest album.

A baby pink gown was then lowered from above in an impressive costume change before P!nk performed a cover of Bob Dylan’s Make You Feel My Love on piano.

The excitement is at fever pitch by now and somebody shouts ‘We love you!” and P!nk replies ‘I love you harder”.

Throughout the show P!nk’s adoring fans shower her with gifts - Maltesers, a cheese board and cuddly toy frogs - the latter she now has so many of that she gives them to the local children’s hospital.

Donning frog slippers and telling fans that this song is where ‘we’re all gonna lose our marbles together’ the beating drums signal the start to I Am Here.

The singer is chatty throughout her set connecting with her army of fans and even presiding over a surprise engagement.

“I get told to shut up and sing a lot”, she explains.

“I’m told I’m irrelevant every time I support something I believe in so I’m going to shut up and sing a song called irrelevant!”

Other highlights of the night include an acoustic version of Please Don’t Leave Me with amazing harmonies and the song that ‘helped me to feel better’ Cover Me In Sunshine with P!nk’s 12-year-old daughter Willow joining her on stage to sing.

A seductive cover of Sade’s No Ordinary Love and jaw-dropping parkour trampoline jumping for Trustfall keeps the audience guessing just what incredible thing they will see next.

And the climax to the evening doesn’t disappoint with P!nk taking to the air for one last time - this time literally flying over the crowds, spinning and flipping as she goes while belting out So What.
