Love Island host Maya Jama addresses 'injury' after fans become concerned
Love Island host Maya Jama has set the record straight after viewers shared their concerns for the brunette beauty following her comeback to the villa this week.
Maya strutted back into the villa for the explosive Casa Amor recoupling, and while all eyes were on her stunning cut-out red dress, some eagle-eyed viewers spotted a painful-looking injury on her shoulder during the tense episode.
The Bristolian beauty looked ethereal in a silky red cut-out dress which showed off her toned abs.
She also had a thigh-high split on the side of the dress to add a little extra oomph to the look.
Maya posed on the villa's iconic walkway with her hands placed lightly on her hips as she gazed at the camera.

However, as Maya chatted with the islanders, viewers at home couldn’t help but notice a mark on her left shoulder.
“Wonder how Maya got that cut on her shoulder," one viewer tweeted.
Maya has since addressed the injury in a reply to another worried fan on Twitter.
The fan mused: “Maya Jama did you catch your shoulder with the hair straighteners haha."
Lifting the lid on her self-inflicted injury, the Love Island host replied: "I was shoulder dancing in a sparkly dress and it scratched at the Brits xx."
Maya wowed in the slashed red dress, with fans of the show describing her as an 'absolute goddess' as they praised her stunning outfit, which included multiple cut-out details. Others said she made their 'heart skip a beat' as they showered compliments on the host.
