Billionaire bosses Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg have agreed to a cage fight - but the pair would have vastly contrasting styles if they met in the cage.

Musk, 51, proposed a fight against Zuckerberg, 39, after a Twitter user told him to "be careful" because of the Meta co-founder's experience in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Musk insisted he was serious about fighting his rival in the cage as he replied to the fan: "I’m up for a cage match if he is lol".

Zuckerberg showed off his UFC knowledge whilst replying to Musk by quoting Khabib Nurmagomedov's "send me location" catchphrase. Musk then suggested the fight should take place in Las Vegas, which has led to bookies already drafting up odds for the fantasy fight. Crazier things have happened, so let's look at how the two tech bosses would stack up in the cage...

Who wins the fantasy fight - Elon Musk or Mark Zuckerberg? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below

Elon Musk

Musk's height is well-documented as the Tesla boss stands at just under 6'2", but his weight is largely unknown. Musk has no combat sports experience and has even admitted that he doesn't partake in regular exercise. Musk admitted that getting into fights whilst growing up in South Africa was not uncommon, as the 51-year-old has "punched a face many time" and almost got beaten to death once.

It isn't the first time Musk has teased the idea of a fight, as he called out Russian President Vladimir Putin last year. "I hereby challenge Vladimir Putin to a fight. The prize is Ukraine," he wrote. Musk insisted he was being serious about the idea, which didn't draw a response from Putin but did capture the attention of his ally Ramzan Kadyrov, a Chechen warlord.

"A word of advice: don't measure your strength against Putin's, you're in two different leagues," Kadyrov told Musk. "How do you see this? You're in the red corner, an entrepreneur and Twitter user; and Putin, in the blue, a politician and global strategist who inspires awe in the West and the U.S. You're a much weaker opponent."

Musk may have already revealed his tactics for a fight against Zuckerberg whilst discussing his fantasy fight against Putin that didn't come to fruition. Given the Tesla boss would be much bigger than Zuckerberg, he could utilise a move called 'The Walrus' where he joked that he would just lie on top of his opponent.

"If you've got a big weight advantage, that can overcome a lot of technique," Musk said on the Full Send podcast. "I have this great move that I call 'The Walrus', where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing. I almost never work out, except for picking up my kids & throwing them in the air."

Mark Zuckerberg

The Meta co-founder is a huge MMA fan and he started training after wanting to take up a sport that required his full focus. Zuckerberg took part in his first Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament last month as he took home gold and silver medals for his Guerrilla team.

Although he hasn't been involved in MMA for long, Zuckerberg's novice pedigree in the sport means he would have a massive experience edge over Musk if they met in the cage. Zuckerberg would give up a lot of size against the Tesla boss as he stands at 5'8" tall and weighs around 70kg.

"I really like watching UFC for example, that's because I also like doing the sport [MMA]. It really is the best sport, five minutes in I was like 'Where has this best my whole life?' To some degree, MMA is the perfect thing because if you stop paying attention for one second you're going to end up on bottom," he said on the Joe Rogan Experience.

"I used to run a lot, then since Covid I got super into surfing and [wind] foiling then MMA. After an hour or two of wrestling or rolling with friends, now I am ready to go and solve whatever problem at work for the day. I have fully processed all the different news for the day that has come in."

Zuckerberg has sparred with the likes of PFL fighter Khai Wu and UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski in the past. The Meta co-founder's recent success in Brazilian jiu-jitsu led to a heap of praise from fighters, as UFC legend Conor McGregor wrote: "Yo!!! F***ing awesome Mark". Several fighters such as top-ranked bantamweight Merab Dvalishvili also shared their willingness to train with the tech giant.
