Priscilla Presley says ‘Elvis would be proud’ of trust settlement after 'feud'
Priscilla Presley has shared that Elvis "would be proud" of her and granddaughter Riley Keough 's settlement of her daughter Lisa Marie's trust.
Lisa Marie sadly passed away on January 12th after suffering from cardiac arrest. Following her death, a family "feud" regarding her trust ensued between her mother Priscilla and her daughter, Riley.
The legal drama allegedly caused a family rift, with sources claiming that at one point, Priscilla had been "locked out" of Graceland.
However, upon reaching an agreement and according to court documents obtained by People, Riley will give Priscilla a lump-sum payment worth $1 million, as well as another $400,000 to cover her legal fees.
Priscilla spoke out about the legal drama (Earl Gibson III/REX/Shutterstock)“The settlement agreement contains private details regarding my daughter’s Trust that is to benefit my two minor granddaughters (14-year-old Harper and Finley, Lisa Marie’s children by fourth husband Michael Lockwood, 62),” Priscilla wrote.

In a declaration filed on Wednesday and obtained by People, Priscilla expressed that she was pleased the "misunderstandings" were behind them.
“My daughter’s passing was both devastating and heartbreaking,” she wrote. “We have learned that the fans realize that we are ‘Just a Family.’ Elvis would be proud and his and Lisa’s wishes are what are most important to all of us.”
Priscilla dismissed any "feud" rumours“My granddaughter, through her counsel, along with my team worked diligently and tirelessly to resolve all misunderstandings as a family,” she added.
The 78-year-old then brushed off rumours of a feud that came from her initial petition that questioned the “authenticity and validity” of a 2016 amendment replacing her and former business manager Barry Siegel as co-trustees of the estate with Lisa Marie Presley ’s daughter Riley Keough and deceased son Benjamin Keough.

Riley and her late mother Lisa Marie (Getty Images for ELLE)“My January 2023 petition was misconstrued in the press as a ‘fight’ over my beloved daughter’s Trust,” she wrote. “That was not the intent. The petition was filed by a law firm who has since been terminated.”
“I filed the petition to resolve all potential uncertainty surrounding the interpretation of the Promenade Trust,” Priscilla’s motion added.
