Chrissy Teigen is far from happy at the criticism she's received over her new look.

The model, 37, is often targeted by trolls online but took exception to the latest line of attack, calling commenters "pieces of s***".

The mum-of-four who is married to singer John Legend wasn't prepared to let the hate slide and faced it full on on social media.

In a recent video, Chrissy gasped: "No mean intentions?" as she referenced a comment by a user. But [you’re] saying this could be your face if you do it wrong?”

Chrissy went on to pout out she has "gained weight" after the initial poster seemed to claim her appearance was the "possible consequences … [of] overfill".

Trolls were quick to jump on the back of Chrissy with one user saying: "She was beautiful before. Not sure why she destroyed her face like that."

Another disgustingly added: "She's got the face she deserves," while others compared her to cartoons and asked why celebrities "want puffy cheeks".

It's far from the first time Chrissy has had to hit back at nasty remarks online. In September last year she was targeted her after she shared heartbreaking details about the loss of her son, Jack.

She shared screenshots on her Twitter account of examples of the vile abuse she had been on the receiving end after revealing that Jack's passing was the result of an abortion rather than a miscarriage, explaining that she made the 'difficult decision' to terminate the pregnancy at 20 weeks after accepting that both she and Jack would likely not survive a full pregnancy.

The online abuse came in response to comments made by Chrissy after she had said in a chat with THR : "Let's just call it what it was: It was an abortion. An abortion to save my life for a baby that had absolutely no chance. And to be honest, I never, ever put that together until, actually, a few months ago.

"Two years ago, when I was pregnant with Jack, John and my third child, I had to make a lot of difficult and heartbreaking decisions.

"It became very clear around halfway through that he would not survive, and that I wouldn't either without any medical intervention."

Captioning the post she wrote: "I knew this would happen, and honestly I've already seen you do your worst so if this makes you feel better, great. It doesn't make me feel worse though.
