Molly-Mae Hague will never feel confident to wear a bikini after having a baby
Molly-Mae Hague says she doesn’t think she will ever wear a bikini again after becoming a mum to baby Bambi.
The 24-year-old Love Island star gave birth to her first child with boyfriend Tommy Fury in January.
But although it’s still early days, the new mum says she has a ‘real journey to start’ if she ever wants to feel body confident again.
Taking to her YouTube channel while on holiday in Barbados, the influencer shared: “I genuinely feel that with time my body confidence is actually getting worse. Like, it’s irritating me.
“I really felt on this trip I was going to embrace it, like I don’t care. My new mum bod. I’m proud of it, whatever. And I am. But I’m finding it harder to accept that.”
Baby boy has spent his life in hospital as doctors are 'scared' to discharge himMolly-Mae, who landed the job of Creative Director at PrettyLittleThing after appearing on Love Island, continued: “I have a real journey to start if I want to feel more confident in my body.
“But I was speaking about it to my family and I just don’t ever picture myself putting on a bikini ever again.
“I mean, I never did in the first place. There’s just no way. Like, before I had a baby I didn’t feel confident in a bikini, so after having a baby I just don’t picture myself thinking ‘Oh, I’ll slip a bikini on and feel amazing.’
“I want to come on here and say ‘I feel amazing’, but it’s just not how I’m feeling at the minute.”
Since having baby Bambi, Molly-Mae has been praised by fans for showing off her real post-baby body.
And just four months after welcoming her little girl, she was back in front of the camera modelling crop tops for PrettyLittleThing.
Sharing a snap from the brand's summer collection Molly donned an orange crop top with white linen shirt and matching trousers.
Recently opening up about life as a new mum on Instagram, she told her 7 million followers: "Being a mum consists of great days, bad days, normal days, overwhelming days, perfect days, sad days… a lot of days of just making it to the end of the day! But through it all, a crazy amount of love.
"To my new mums out there who are reading this… when people say ‘it gets easier’ it really isn’t just a passing comment. You’ve got this.'"
In another moment of honesty, Molly-Mae admitted she had a 'meltdown' after her first photoshoot since giving birth after jetting to Nice, France for the shoot.
