Young Thug’s brother Unfoonk jailed after violating gun arrest probation
Young Thug's brother Unfoonk has been sentenced to nine years and six months in prison after violating the terms of his probation following his arrest on gun charges.
In December 2022, the 34-year-old, whose real name is Quantavious Grier, pleaded guilty to one count of violating the RICO Act and one count of theft by receiving stolen property.
As part of Grier's plea deal, he accepted a 12-year sentence with two years commuted to time served. The further 10 years was to be served as probation.
Unfoonk's probation also stated he could not have any contact with Young Thug and complete 750 hours of community service with a 6 p.m. curfew.
However, on Monday, Judge Glanville found that Unfoonk was in violation of his probation due to his May 4 arrest on possessing a firearm by a convicted felon, participating in a criminal street gang as well as window tint and seatbelt violations.

Unfoonk was one of 28 YSL (Young Slime Life criminal street gang) associates arrested as part of the extensive RICO case in Atlanta last May.
