Sydney Sweeney’s dad 'walked out' after watching her in racy Euphoria scenes
Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney has revealed that her dad and grandpa weren't best pleased when they witnessed her racy and explicit scenes from the popular programme.
The 25 year old is famed for portraying the role of Cassie Howard, a teen with a promiscuous reputation, in the hit HBO drama that follows the lives of LA-based teens.
She began portraying the role of Cassie in June 2019, with the series becoming incredibly popular among teenagers and young women, with her even receiving a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2022.
But now it has emerged that despite Sydney receiving vast acclaim for her portrayal of Cassie and garnering award nominations for the role, her family have been less than impressed by her on-screen antics.
Sydney's character of Cassie can be seen stripping off in the hit series, with her acting sensually in sexual and nude scenes - and it seems that her dad and grandpa just couldn't bear to watch.
The Last of Us stars banned from using certain word on set and fans aren't happy"My dad and my grandpa turned it off and walked out," Sydney spilled in an upcoming episode of Sunday Today with Willie Geist.
The blonde beauty then gushed about her grandma when she said: "But my grandma, my grandma — she’s a big supporter of mine. She’s a big fan of mine."
Sydney did go on to admit though that she "didn't prepare" her dad Steven "at all", adding: "When I talk to my dad, it’s usually not about work. We talk like father-daughter conversations."
Euphoria is a series set in Los Angeles which explores the lives of high school students and their parents.
The series features scenes and storylines that address depression, addiction, drug abuse and sexual relationships.
As well as being well-known for her portrayal of Cassie in Euphoria, Sydney appeared in the first season of hit series The White Lotus.
The HBO comedy-drama anthology series sees the blonde beauty play a sardonic college sophomore and yet another Primetime Emmy Award nomination, but this time for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, also in 2022.
