Jessie J has hit back at trolls over her honest C-section baby Instagram post.

The singer gave birth last week to her first child, a baby boy, and has since talked about having a caesarean.

However, the 35-year-old has now had to take to her Instagram story to share a video hitting back at those who have criticised her.

She has since shared a clip which talks about celebrating imperfections.

Jessie has documented her pregnancy throughout and kept her followers up to date with what stage she is at.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Jessie penned: "I don't think I realised the impact my post would have on so many women who have felt ashamed or guilt from having a c-section.

"Planned or emergency. If no one has told you I will. It is by no means the easy way out. It is a birth

"Politely f**k anyone who makes you feel anything different. You had a BELLY BIRTH.

"Whether it was a choice or not you did or had to go what was right for your baby and for you to be healthy and arrive safely. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS."

She added: "Hugging you all. We did it. We DID IT!!! And... THANK YOU for the love and support you have shown me throughout this whole process. I will only focus on that. Having a child has shifted my perspective and energy completely.

"I actively choose to only focus on the people who get it and support me. Everything else is background noise. I embrace my new life, my new body, my new world with no apologies. I will be on the beach with my body on show, I've missed too many moments in life caring about what people will say or think."

In another post, Jessie shared a clip of herself about to go into surgery, as she wrote: "I spent 9 months prepping for a natural birth.

"Strict food, the epi no, yoga, swimming, hypnobirthing methods. I had a tens machine, a birthing comb, I wanted a pool birth ideally with no medication.

"BUT this was MY plan to stay disciplined and focused. I knew full well it could and would most likely go in a completely different direction."

She said that her baby was "completely the wrong way around" due to being a larger and longer than average baby.

Jessie explained that for the last two months, she had done everything she could to try and turn him.

"I was advised to have a planned C-section for the safest birth. This video was taken 5 minutes before I went down to surgery. I went into active labour the night before and feeling all the feels but mostly just exciting for us to meet our baby boy," she said.

Finishing off her post, she explained that all that mattered was that her baby was healthy and had a smooth birth.

Jessie concluded: "I guess I’m sharing this because so many people have said 'Do you feel like you missed out on the birth you wanted?'

"I had a birth and it was everything I wanted because I got him at the end of it, that’s all that matters."
