She had tragically lost her baby hours before a gig in Los Angeles, but still took to the stage.

As she posted a photo of her positive pregnancy test and a quote, she told fans in the caption: "Yesterday morning I was laughing with a friend saying 'seriously though how am I going to get through my gig in LA tomorrow night without telling the whole audience I am pregnant'.

"By yesterday afternoon I was dreading the thought of getting through the gig without breaking down…"

She then went on to explain that after going for her third scan, she was sadly told there was no longer a heartbeat.

A year on, in November this year, Jessie reflected on the pain of losing her 'angel baby'.

Writing on Instagram, Jessie said: "A year ago today I was told my baby no longer had a heartbeat.

"Although I can tell the story now without crying, have and still am discovering all the positives that experience gave me."

At a London gig in the same month, Jessie explained she was trying for another baby and her body had been "changing shape" as a result.

She explained to the crowd: "I have gained weight and I've not been to the gym in ages, but honestly, I feel great. I'm not 17 anymore and I want to make a baby and I am trying to do that and my body is changing shape."
