Vicky Pattison has explained her time on Geordie Shore made her feel like she 'probably wasn’t good for anything'.

The reality TV icon, 35, shot to fame on the MTV series back in 2011, and although she is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars to emerge from the show, since leaving it, Vicky has made it her mission to distance herself.

Although Vicky made the decision to leave Geordie Shore in 2014 for bigger and brighter things, at the time, she says she had 'zero faith' in herself to succeed.

"Nobody would have anticipated that a little girl from Wallsend would be in the place that I am now less than me, I had zero faith in myself," Vicky admitted.

“And my time spent on Geordie Shore just completely reinforced the idea that I probably wasn’t good for anything and I’m really lucky that I’ve managed to parlay that time spent in reality TV into something with longevity, into using my platform for good, into having a voice and speaking for the people that need you to speak for them.

"So, I would have never envisaged in my wildest dreams that I’d be here. It’s very important if anybody has a platform, to use it for something. Otherwise, what are you f****** famous for," she told PA.

Since leaving Geordie Shore, Vicky has taken part in many more reality TV shows including Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, I'm A Celebrity, Ex On The Beach, and Drunk History.

But she has also since used her huge platform for the greater good by sharing body positivity posts, and relatable life content, and more recently, Vicky has shed light on her father's battle with alcoholism, including her own.

The former I'm A Celebrity star previously revealed that she was riddled with fear that she would fall into the same alcohol battle trap as her father.

Given that Geordie Shore mainly focused on the gang going out and getting drunk, Vicky is now able to look back at her chaotic life.

Looking back, she recently admitted that she feels 'mortified' for getting so drunk at times, and has confessed to 'never being a nice drunk'.

Vicky further explained that having grown up with an alcoholic father - binge drinking in her younger years hit home a lot harder for her than it did for her others.

However, she is now happy and content with life, having ditched her party lifestyle for a more chilled-out and wholesome routine.
