PS Plus Extra and Premium members have a brand new lineup to look forward to as the next batch of games is set to be added on Tuesday, February 21.

First off, PS Plus Premium members can look forward to hunting some tech-dinos and looking at some really nice water effects in Horizon Forbidden West. This is no doubt to get a few extra eyes on the game before the Burning Shores DLC expansion for the game releases on April 19. So if you were on the fence about picking up the sequel, you can now dip your toes in – free of charge.

As for PS Plus Extra members, Sony announced on the PlayStation Blog that the PS4 version of Capcom’s Resident Evil 7: Biohazard leads the pack this month. This critically acclaimed survival horror title takes the Resident Evil series back to its roots. Swapping out the globe-trotting action movie style of Resident Evil 5 and 6, Resident Evil 7 instead takes you to a derelict house down by the bayou.

Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil Village are all on sale right now, so it's the perfect time to jump into this genre-defining series.

Resident Evil 7 is the first game to make the jump from the soon-to-be-axed PS Plus Collection. For PS5 owners, I recommend redeeming the game there so that it’ll stay in your games library even if it’s removed from the Extra lineup.

For those who like their horror a bit more campy, The Quarry also joins the PS Plus lineup this month. The game comes from Until Dawn developer Supermassive Games, and stars the likes of Ariel Winter, David Arquette and Lance Henriksen. Another game in which your choices impact the outcome of the story is the critically-acclaimed title, The Forgotten City, which joins the fray this month.

Anime hack-and-slash Scarlet Nexus is another gem you should try out if you haven't already. Released in 2021, it's coming to PS Plus this month, which is a treat for members. If, like me, you were interested in the game at launch, but missed out on it because of how stacked a month June 2021 was, now is the perfect time to jump in and smack around some mutants with your psychokinesis powers.

PS Plus Premium subscribers also get an update to the classic games lineup with the exciting addition of three cult-classic PS1 RPGs. The Legend of Dragoon, Wild Arms 2 and Harvest Moon: Back to Nature, as well as the remake of Destroy All Humans await!
