Channel 5's 22 Kids And Counting has been slammed for making 'tone deaf' remarks.

Fans reckon they had to 'stop watching' the show after parents Noel and Sue Radford started complaining about the cost of living crisis.

The family had just got back from a trip to Florida when mum Sue, 47, said she was struggling with the couple's smart meter.

“It’s ridiculous, she fumed. "I’m sure I put £50 on that yesterday morning. This is getting beyond a joke, it really is ridiculous.”

Noel added: “We have a top-up thing which we like. It’s handy because you keep on top of your bills and you don’t run up a big bill, but it’s just getting crazy stupid, we feel like we’re down the shop every day topping up.”

However, fans couldn't believe the couple were moaning about their bills when they had just taken their huge brood to Florida.

One viewer said: "Love that the Radfords are complaining about the cost of living a few episodes after their £20k+ trip for 26 of them to Florida and a new motorhome… pull the other one #22kidsandcounting."

Another complained: "Bloody hell! Now Chloe is moaning about the cost of living yet they managed to fit in a holiday abroad. You can’t do that if you’re skint. #22kidsandcounting."

While a third said: "That would cost them an absolute fortune! When we went to Disney ten years ago our tickets were over £100 each #22KidsAndCounting."

Britain's biggest family shot to fame in 2012, where they documented their life bringing up 15 children.

A decade later, Sue and Noel are proud parents to 22 kids, seven grandchildren and have earned a lucrative career with their Channel 5 show.

And it seems like they need the money, reportedly consuming 56 sausages, 16 pints of milk and four loaves of bread a day, as well as three tubes of toothpaste, 80 yoghurts a week and 24 toilet rolls per week.

As the success of the series began to snowball, Sue and Noel went on to have Casper, nine, Hallie, six, Phoebe, five, Archie, four, Bonnie, three, and Heidie, one.
