Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen sparks concern with 'crumbling' Ravenseat pics

Amanda Owen shocked fans earlier this week as she got to work on some vital repairs on her Ravenseat farm.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess, 48, shares the remote farm with estranged husband Clive, with the former couple snapping also snapping up a farmhouse before calling time on their marriage last year.

Our Yorkshire Farm Amanda has suffered several setbacks related to the property over recent months, telling a fan who asked about the 'restoration of the other house' in November that she hasn't 'even started yet'.

It seems thanks to a harsh winter, the mum-of-nine has her hands full trying to repair the damage wind and rain has caused elsewhere on the farm.

Taking to Instagram this week, Amanda shared a snap of a wall on the farm - with the image showing the wall after it was knocked down by the extreme winds that Ravenseat has been battling over recent weeks.

"A bright but cold day for some running repairs. Every year the combination of wind, snow, ice & sodden ground brings down walls," Amanda began when captioning the post to her 535,000 followers.

She continued: "This is a particularly bad wall that takes rather a lot of upkeep but so long as we keep gapping it will remain stockproof."

The Channel 5 star went on to share snaps of the wall being fixed and the finished result.

Amanda's fans were shocked to see the damage bad weather and impressed with the skill it takes to repair the wall.

"Well done that's brilliant trade to learn a great skill," one gushed underneath the star's post.

"Few years ago did a course on dry stone walling in lakes it was so good," another added, as a third told Amanda: "A job worth doing , done well."

Amanda and her estranged husband are parents to nine children together who, in descending order of age, are Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmie, and Nancy. The former couple first struck up a romance back in 1995, when Amanda visited Clive's farm in Ravenseat to ask for help.

The former couple announced their decision to end their relationship in June this year, but revealed their plans to continue working together on the farm together as they co-parent their nine children.

Speaking last month, Amanda slammed rumours someone else was 'involved' in the breakdown of their marriage.

She told Mail Online: "I’m getting on with my life as an independent woman, looking after the kids and my sheep.

"There was nobody involved in the break up with Clive and I don’t understand why this is being suggested."

Speaking about her relationship with the farmer, she said: "There’s absolutely no problem between us. It’s been a very amicable split and we continue to work together."
