Inbetweeners fans would not recognise star 14 years after appearance on show
Inbetweeners fans have been left stunned at one star's appearance 14 years after starring in the show.
The guest actor Vladimir Consigny, now 34, had viewers laughing with his memorable appearance in the hit comedy series over a decade ago.
Vladimir played the hilarious and foul mouthed Patrice in Inbetweeners in the episode titled Will's Birthday, which featured in the second series of the comedy.
He featured in just one episode but became an instant hit with fans.
The star now looks totally different from his time in the show and has grown a beard since taking to screens alongside Simon Bird's character Will Mackenzie.

Patrice was a quiet character who Simon had to look after during his exchange visit to the UK.
In the episode, Will had planned to have a sophisticated dinner with his pals to celebrate his birthday.
Jay, Neil and Simon all attempted to find a date for the dinner but everyone at school all seemed to be going to a different party instead.
Will's love interest Charlotte even ditched his offer and Will, Jay, Simon and Neil decide to try and gatecrash the party – along with Patrice.
However they are all denied entry except for the French exchange student, who proved a popular hit with the other teens.
Patrice student even managed to impress Emily Atack's character Charlotte Hinchcliffe.
Since appearing on the show Vladimir has starred as Doctor Felix Ray in film At Eternity's Gate, which follows the life of Vincent van Gogh.
He has also starred in a number of French films and series including Sleeping Beauty, Genius, Marseille and The Returned.
Earlier this year two of the much loved Inbetweeners cast members met up where they teased the possibility of a third film for the beloved comedy.
Danny Dyer shares boozy night out with The Inbetweeners star James BuckleyEmily Atack and Blake Harrison, who played dopey but loveable Neil, partied together at a pre BAFTA bash, where Emily joked about their characters running off together.
Sharing a photo on Instagram of the pair smiling at the camera, with Emily in a strapless black dress and a feathered neckline, Neil in a blue suit, Emily wrote: "Plot twist: Charlotte ran off with Neil?"
A TV fan responded: "We all want a sequel", while another said, referencing Neil's dancing on the show: "Who could blame her, man's got the moves!"
The Inbetweeners aired between 2008 and 2010 and quickly became a cult classic.
Two films followed, in 2011 and 2014, where the awkward foursome went on holiday in Majorca, and then to Australia while at university.
Fans have called for a sequel over the years, but the cast have played down the idea.
In April last year, Simon Bird, who played Will, shut down the possibility of returning to the show, as he told the Guardian: "It’s a hard no, I’m afraid.
"It just wouldn’t be the show people want or remember. Much better to leave it as a happy memory."
He then joked: "Cut to us all doing a third film for Netflix next year … Anything’s possible."
James Buckley, who played foul-mouthed Jay, also ruled out returning, when speaking to Chris Moyles on Radio X, he said: "No, I don't wanna go near it anymore.
"Not because I don't think I would have an amazing time doing it, because I know I would... I love the boys, I love the writers.
"Doing The Inbetweeners was the best job in the world, all we did was muck around all day long and they filmed us doing it, and at the end of the day, we might have had an episode or a TV, you know, or a film or something. It was the best job in the world.
"But it might – you know, as I'm getting older – it's looking like it might be the only thing that I do professionally that is universally loved.
"There's not enough money in the world for me to spoil that."
