Everybody has their favourite McDonald's orders - whether it be tasty nuggets, a wrap of the day, or a cheeky Big Mac. But did you know that you can get more for your money when it comes to your Maccies, and all you need to do is slightly edit your order?

It can be slightly cumbersome at the drive-thru trying to explain a complicated order, but you know for a fact it'll be worth it when you've secured the goods.

If you're a Big Mac lover, it's good news, because you can get extra meat for less money - and you just need to make some small edits.

A McDonald's worker told the Sun that there are some little-known ways to get more for your dough in the fast-food restaurant.

If you're a Big Mac fan but you think it lacks meat, you can get two extra patties by simply ordering two double cheeseburgers, and asking for Big Mac sauce and lettuce as it's "cheaper" that way and is "basically the same thing with two extra bits of meat on it."

The anonymous employee also shared a clever hack to get more nuggets. They said that many people "come through in a pair" and place orders for "either two six chicken nuggets meals or two nine nugget meals."

But it's actually much cheaper to get 20 nuggets between you, with two chips and two drinks - and of course, you get eight more nuggets.

The plucky staff member also shared the sneaky revenge that some staff take on customers if they've been rude or particularly nasty.

They claimed: "If a customer is annoying or rude they'll get s***e chips.

"Either the ones that have been sitting for ages or ones with no salt.

"I'll do that loads if they phone up and are cheeky about a delivery they're waiting for."
