Pete Davidson used "a lot of movie magic" while filming some X-rated scenes for his new comedy series Bupkis.

The 29-year-old comedian released the highly-anticipated series earlier this month, giving fans an insight into his life with the semi-autobiographical project.

Bupkis is loosely based on Pete's experience growing up on Staten Island and it features an array of big-name stars, including Al Gore and Joe Pesci.

In the opening episode, Pete stunned viewers with one memorable scene as he put on a virtual reality headset for an immersive masturbation experience in the privacy of his basement.

However, his mother inadvertently interrupted as she walked in to wash some laundry.

Arielle Raycene, who starred as Skipper in the show, has revealed all on how the scene was filmed.

She told The Mirror: "It was a lot of movie magic going on.

"I'm acting like he's having sex with me over VR so actually, we used a ball. I used a ball against the table to make it look like it was bouncing, like we were having sex.

"It was really funny."

The actress started her career as a model, but said she had a sneaky suspicion she'd managed to nab the part of Skipper when she was offered the audition.

" When I got the audition, I just kind of knew.

"I was like, 'Oh, I'm gonna get this.' It was such a fun audition.

"They wanted me to be more 90s porn star, it was just funny. And I did the whole cheesy hair clip with the glasses and stuff in my audition," Arielle explained.

As well as appearing in Pete's series Bupkis, Arielle plays the leading role in new horror film Kill Her Goats.

Speaking about the filming experience, she admitted: " It's exhausting, like being scared. It's like, okay I'm scared again. I'm scared for the full 12 hours today."

The actress joked how she was perfect for the part because she "could always scream really well", adding how it "just feels good to let it out".

Pete Davidson also has some exciting projects to look forward to.

He voices Mirage in the upcoming feature film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which debuts on June 9, before his feature part on Dumb Money alongside the likes of Seth Rogen, which is set for release on October.
